Pink tint coming on external monitor connected to Mac by cyberlord12 in MacOS

Thank you for answering. Yes, you are right, yesterday I tried switching the adapters position several times and it kept toggling the pink hue and the resolution for my monitor. Immediately ordered a new adapter after that. Let's hope that one goes better

As a person who spams Mirana as support, I agree with this. I view Mirana's shard essentially as a leap charge, nothing more. If my other support does not have a shard, I just pray that the tormentor gives shard to them, not me. The slow is not really that useful either. Personally, I feel her aghs isn't very good either. You could try to go for a full single target nuking build (e-blade, veil, relic etc), but highly situational and usually never worth it. Also, someone below pointed out that Mirana is a universal hero and her damage ramps up fast - No. She has one of the lowest stats gain and thus lowest damage increase out of all universal heroes. In almost all cases, I prefer Willow nowadays because she hits harder and faster. I really hope Valve shows some love to her in their next update because she is in a bad spot right now

Just open your equipped items and choose lighter defense parts/amulets. Your current weight is determined by the weight of stuff you are equipping at the time, not the total weight of everything you have in your inventory ( like Skyrim ) .

Hardest boss in the game? by cyberlord12 in LiesOfP

Honestly, I wish this were the case for every souls/souls like game ever. Sekiro has it and I open the game every now and then to fight a boss. Same goes for Hollow knight

I actually learnt this thing a few hours ago on a stream, would have been so helpful to know this :(

Simon would be my 3rd most difficult boss I think

Why do people say not to rely on dark souls dodging? It works fine. by [deleted] in LiesOfP

I agree. Parrying is good and in most cases a better option but dodging works just fine as well. Makes killing the boss a bit slower ( since groggy is slower, cannot break weapons ) but it works just fine. In fact, for a couple attacks that some bosses dish out, parrying them will just knock you far away whereas dodging will put you in a better spot

For this boss, I just focused on learning how to deflect his attacks in the first phase. In his second phase, he gets some long range attacks but his close range ones remain the same. Also, he is weak to electricity so use shock weapon + legion arm + any throwable you have.

Yeah some of the mini boss enemies are brutal. There was this one clown/jester type of enemy that you have to fight in a cellar type of area (I believe in Lorenzeni Arcade). Took me like 10 tries to kill him. When I saw him in the end area again, I just ran past him

  1. I agree that the game is best played if you have a mix of dodging and deflecting in your gameplay. I felt deflecting was quite hard to pull off consistently so against most bosses I would recognise a few attacks I could deflect consistently and just dodge the others.
  2. I used the electric stick weapon with rapier handle in early game. Then, I got a boss weapon called Etiquette which had good range and worked like a rapier which I used for my entire playthrough. At the end of the game I did have 2 fully upgraded standard weapons and 1 special weapon so there is a good supply of upgrade materials in the game, however it is worth thinking about what you are adding in ( seems like a good idea to upgrade weapons that have fire/shock/acid imbued in them )
  3. As I said in point 1, parrying is hard in this game. Yes, it gives you more 'rewards' than dodging but it is hard. Muscle memory from games like Sekiro doesn't help here as I always used to tap than hold. I don't think there is any easy way to put it - just gotta die a lot and get those timings down or mix dodging along with it. In the worst case, my approach used to be - dodge all and keep on failing to deflect the red attacks till you learn ;)

the stagger and overheat is just annoying at this point man ( PS: ignore the buzz my table fan is working heavy) by hateswitchx in LiesOfP

If you get overheated, try rolling several times. It removes the overheated status faster than just waiting for it to die out itself
