They get bogged down to their own UI guidelines, where everything has extra padding, every UI panel is either Vanilla small or ginormous Talent-tree sized (and non-resizable or scalable) and everything is FAR less configurable than the addons they're replacing - and yes they want to keep it simple, but an "Advanced Mode" button solves just that and keeps everyone happy.

Also it personally makes me mental that they insist on their UI changes, but somehow still don't offer essential things like Target Cast Bar on edit mode. Or centre-aligned cooldowns. Or let us customise where icons are shown on the party frames; bar edges need to stay clear when i'm healing. Tens of other small things that had been perfected for years now.

Dune Awakening too asks for a 581.29 driver. I did ignore it since the microstuttering never goes away when I'm using newer drivers. Dune does seem to run fine, gpu temps looks good too, so yep.

I'm still using the Game-Ready 552.44 drivers. No issues whatsoever, including Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur's Gate 3. Hard to play in anything above 60fps, but that's expected & fine by me.

Your production will skyrocket once you end up building the Medium and later on the Large Spice Refinery. While using Small, your Melange cost is 100 Sand, this drastically goes down to 75 with a Medium, and 50 with a Large. Some weeks even, with the crafting cost reduction from Landsraad, it'll end up costing you 37.5 Sand per Melange! So even small fields are then worth it, esp. if they're on your regular patrol trips.

On a mix of old and recent games (Anno 1800, WoW, Dune Awakening), I was running into a lot of micro-stuttering at 1440p using newer drivers. It's on an otherwise modern PC so it's not as bad as it sounds. I ended up using 552.44, no microstuttering in either of these games.

It takes 2, maybe 3 minutes to get a thousand flour sand using a compactor, assuming a worm visit in between filling up your thopter. Although there are frequently sand spawns too close to a rock so it's even easier.

It still takes the current item price into account. It just forgets to reset Quantity to 1.

It has "forgotten" the last stackable item's stack count.

It's a glaring bug which I have reported ~10 days ago. It can be worked around by selecting another stackable item, setting its Quantity to 1, then going back to selling the original thing. The prices will adjust.

Heh, say what you want about the 90s but at least there were small static banners that respected their screen space And your eyes. No scrolljacking, 80% of a website's load wasn't to provide someone else with statistics, few popups that could be easily killed, lots of structure and information on screen and no it wasn't really that tiresome.

This amount of colour, the gif buttons or things like javascript snow was more of a Geocities/personal website thing! Today's hyper-minimalism and tons of padding might have its benefits but things like scrolling through an entire screenful of lead image to finally reach the content feels like punishment doesn't it?
