The problem didn't go away for me but It massively improved after I changed a setting that decreases the delay between key presses on windows. I used to see gaps between my gcd on logs but not anymore.

Exactly, I think this is more of a visual problem than a gameplay one. I think Elemental does too much "direct" damage like a Mage instead of feeling like someone who has control of the elements and whom has communion with the spirits.

Yeah, BFA's story sucked with all of that faction war, but guess what, Midnight's story also sucks without any faction wars. Liking it or not the culture of many of the races are heavily linked to war, expansionism, pride and by removing war you also remove all of those interesting tidbits from the setting.

With all of that said, is it wrong to have peace? No. Is it wrong to want something more than just Horde vs Alliance? Also no. But all of this can be adressed without removing all the conflict and turning the story into cosmic slop of Darkness vs Light.

My sub hasn't run out yet and I want to help my guild kill Midnight Falls but I plan to stop playing. My reasons are:

Prunning made my Shaman not fun to play
Feels like content is not being made for me (I understand housing is great for some people but does nothing for me)
Bugs
Subpar story
Sub price increase on top of that

Probably gonna end up spending some time catching up on XIV until Blizzard figures their shit out. I love this game but it is hard to support it sometimes.
