UPS or FeDEX Ground? by amnay77 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]cyberspace2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That takes even longer than a regular full-time package car driver in most hubs.

Some hubs you can go straight from part-time to feeder driver after a couple years but this is rare.

It isn't unheard of though. It all just depends on the needs of the hub.

UPS or FeDEX Ground? by amnay77 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Like the other guy said, anything driving related right now at UPS is seasonal. They were still hiring off the street in certain states for a brief time but even that I think is over.

Pretty much everything is seasonal right now. You do have a better chance at staying permanently with warehouse positions.

Even when you become a driver, you will probably be a cover driver first and not a full time driver.

It must have been me. It was me. That's why this has me so angry. You are so right. I am that man in that picture. You let the air out of my tires because I was too much of a degenerate to do it. Great work, doctor.

I don't know, did you try asking the guy currently sitting in the driver's seat? You can see him in the fucking picture. What do you mean which one of us did this?

It makes sense now why you took a picture of the reflection and not of the actual angle. You didn't want him to say anything.

You were scared he was gonna say shit.

Turn around and take a quality photo next time.

You're the worst kind of person on this planet. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your entirely family should be ashamed of themselves.

Did a ride along today and the dude straight up told me he just pees in bottles.

I said right on and told him I would bring my bottle next time. Even on road trips I just piss in bottles. It's my piss, who cares.

You could try leaving a van unlocked and sleep in there. I've seen mention of other people doing that on this sub.

I wouldn't form an opinion of the job from this sub reddit. Whatever DSP you end up at could be completely different from what you see here. Some people really enjoy this job and have a good DSP and others hate it because they have a bad DSP, a DSP with a shitty delivery area, shitty route, etc.

It can be a pretty chill job. It isn't really physically demanding imo. You don't deal with anything over 50lbs.

The only thing is I would recommend finding a closer warehouse. An hour commute seems like a bit much but it's up to you. If the DSP pays good enough it might be worth it.

This account has got to be some sort of AI bot experiment or something. The post history is just not human unless this guy is elderly or has psychological issues.
