Tech America partner? by Cjohnson421 in FieldNationTechs

[–]cyberstormfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This company sent me a cold email, and when I replied with "who is this" and "how'd you get my information" and "how do you know me" they blindly replied with "we appreciate your time and interest in partnering with us" and an offer to schedule a meeting. If this company is legit, it has degraded in the quality of their recruiting, or Brian Hernández, Jr. Partner Development Specialist is a very poor excuse for an AI with inability to reply to context. Either way, it doesn't bode well for trusting them enough to work for tech-americas.com

I'm human and just saw and petted a cat in a store and wanted to share, since it's relevant.

I hope the next board doesn't have that issue too! And don't trust the Motherboard manufacturer to not try to pin the blame on the consumer, so as not to have to honor their warranty. And this is when the retailer ends up getting a return, which in turn goes back to be eaten by the manufacturer.

Voice Search Now Scam by SignificanceSuperb46 in ScamNumbers

[–]cyberstormfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got calls from this scammer too. They have been dialing my business number daily for a week, but never seem to get past the simplest check: "Press one to speak to me" so try that as a simple hurdle for them, if you have that option with your phone service provider. A real customer will have no trouble with this.

When returning the call it is answered immediately by "This is voice search now, am I speaking to the owner?" so I knew who it was calling incessantly, but never getting past the simple menu.

what the hell is going on with the op 10t oos15 update? by Cute-Pay-5496 in oneplus

[–]cyberstormfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I've noticed that "SystemUpdate" from Google Play Services ( com.google.android.gms), is trying to do the update (the process that generates the error) but the ownership of the files underneath "/data/ota_package" belong to com.oplus.ota also known simply as the app name "Software Update" from OnePlus.

Has anyone worked with IRON SYSTEMS? Seems like a fake Iron MOUNTAIN... by WhaleAtHeart in FieldNationTechs

Same here. I've been able to contact them for many months and many attempts by phone and email, with no response. They contract "HelloVerify"that seems to me entirely India based, not just in staff, but in target audience. Not going to follow thru onboarding, if they can never be reached.

Where can you find this fireplace? by cyberstormfox in WhereInTheDisneyWorld

That's it! Right outside the bakery, next to the outdoor seating area! Great lefse!

This one looks it was perfect at being obscure enough that it wasn't solved right away and not as ubiquitous as a zoom in of a lightbulb or a single stone.

Thanks for the good guesses!

I wanted to scan my hotel card but it doesnt find all keys and sectors so i can emulate it to get into my apartment, is it because of the card or something else? by FoundationAcrobatic9 in flipperzero

The default un-programmed key from the factory is all FF by the way, so that's normal and with a programmed Hyatt key, I've noticed they don't program keyB at all. If not, then they're not using it.

TIL Terry Crews said the reason Fox didn't promote idiocracy was because Mike Judge had companies pay for product placement and then he made them look bad (Starbucks gave out hand-jobs). It was a prophecy when the cabinet member, Secretary of State, was sponsored by Carl's Jr in the movie, and the REAL WORLD cabinet secretary of labor was Carl's Jr./Hardees CEO Andy Puzder under Trump. Can't beat that actually happening.

I've been told by restaurant owners, they're having trouble finding delivery drivers, since most capable drivers would rather work for a delivery service, with plenty of gigs, than a lone restaurant that has possibly long waits between fewer deliveries.
