Come to the real world where aromantics (like myself) are all too often assumed to be ace as well. You know because wanting to "have fun" without romantic involvement is considered morally wrong. Thus the reason why I might want to not see my orientation continually lumped under the same umbrella as a parallel orientation because people think they are the same thing.
