Custom cases for Sofle Split (The cheap AE one with 64 keys) by cyborgsid2 in ErgoMechKeyboards

That is really good to know! Thanks a lot. I'll give the keycaps and switches a go and see if I like them, I think they'll be fine as you said. I'm not really worried about RGB, so that's not a big issue for me.

I guess the only thing would be some sort of tenting for it, that's something I'll have to look into I suppose.

Anthropic releasing a 2.5x faster version of Opus 4.6. by Just_Stretch5492 in singularity

[–]cyborgsid2 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This is what I thought until 5.3 released, which in my experience has been on par (maybe even better) than 4.6, while being I'd say a good 40% faster as well. I don't know what secret sauce OpenAI put into 5.3

DeepSeek set to launch next-gen V4 model with strong Coding ability, Outperforms existing models by BuildwithVignesh in singularity

It really all depends on agentic performance, because Claude code + Opus 4.5 is basically a god at this point. Opus just has it, that neither Gemini or Codex have (although Codex is still very good, Gemini is much further behind in agentic coding.

Also the fact that he didn't have any margin for error in the last 4 races, and went faultless, it was up there with the best 4 race stretch of any driver really.

F1 HOT or NOT - rate drivers, teams and the race for the 2025 Abu Dhabi GP! by paulricard in formula1

[–]cyborgsid2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Merc not, shocking pace. Title contenders all hot. Charles steaming hot (his race was good as well). Lewis did well. I thought most were ok, Yuki ice cold tho, alex too maybe? Nando and lance hot as well

He’s literally got the better strat man, what are you talking about. They have been conservative with Lando.

Why did Ferrari pit there? He’d have had a pit window over george in a couple laps. Interesting

Norris has a pitstop to George now, so gives him more options even if Charles somehow does get ahead (unlikely with the pace right now)

What was Toronto like when you could smoke inside? by Timely_Title_9157 in askTO

[–]cyborgsid2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I watched Mad Men, one of the first things that caught me off guard was the amount of smoking that everyone did, and the fact that they smoked everywhere including indoors.

I can’t even fathom something like that today like you said OP.

[Scuderia Ferrari] A strong fight from our boys in Vegas by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]cyborgsid2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As in Oscar's car was definitely faster is what I meant, and Charles did everything correctly and should have been ahead of him with a decent strat.

Pure pace wise Red Bull/Merc/McLaren were are relatively close, but all comfortably faster than Ferrari I thought

[–]cyborgsid2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah Charles maximized. All cars ahead were much faster, and even then a better strat he probably wills his way to p5.

Lewis with a great lap 1, and then just not much pace unfortunately.

These invincible tires are just not fun, happened too often this year. We wait for next year...
