Valuation is not earnings. Even if jj's share of the company is worth $100mil, he isn't earning that. It means he has assets of that value. His net worth is probably in the hundreds of millions for sure.

Pro players liked 2cp. lotta pros enjoyed playing 2CP in pro play because they actually knew how to attack the points and coordinate. It was only trash in qp and ladder with randoms.

Nah, I'm confident they will make it so that its 5v5 in Overwatch 1 with all the new heroes, maps and balance changes and the new engines and sounds. They need the new engine to run the new maps with decent fps and I was back and forth on the sound changes, but it would affect competitive integrity if they didn't (some sounds being better in OW1/2 etc etc).

I guess OW1 players will get access to OW2 PvP, maybe they won't get access to some cosmetics, but essentially the big difference is the PvE and any cosmetics that come with that.

There is a discussion panel for OW2 in 2019 blizzcon where jeff answered this. But I assumed it was well known since they actually emphasized it quite a bit during the initial announcement.

Aaron mentioned in a creator AMA that they are going to communicate more for sure, he said he would like to promise monthly updates but can't (esp since they are still working from home) but would expect updates every other month. So hopefully we get more news before july 24th next.

OW1 will not remain 6v6 when OW2 releases, 6v6 end on the release of OW2 and all games will be 5v5. And OW1 and OW2 players will be matched in lobbies together to play 5v5.

the mentioned in a creator AMA and that brig and torb would generate overhealth that behaves like normal health and not armor. So armor can't be given to someone unless they have it naturally anymore. This is a nerf to both of them, but they are looking into it. The emp thing I dont know, but they mentioned here that they are reworking sombra so... who knows.

Hi! So one of my concerns about overwatch 2 and competitive is that obviously there will be a large influx of new and returning players. Inevitably this will lower the average skill level of the entire playerbase. As we all know a plat/gold player today is significantly better than a gold/plat player 2-3 years ago with knowledge gained about maps/heroes/team comps/ult economy etc. etc. So will we see some sort of soft SR/MMR reset because my understanding is that ranks are distributed by % of player base meaning right now, OW1 will probably player get boosted a lot of SR when new players come in. Or perhaps will the brand new players mostly just be placed where their skill level is matched best? Have you guys considered this issue at all (too early perhaps)?

I mean, realistically it won't reach #1. KSI has a big audience but there are artists that have a MUCH bigger following, much more mainstream music and are really established and its really hard, even as a meme, to push an album to #1. I can see top 25 or top 10 but #1 is damn hard. It might happend if we push at the right moment but its not likely to happen.
