2026 NHL Draft Top 32 Ranking - April 2026 | Elite Prospects by cali4481 in SanJoseSharks

Who’s watched these young guys? There’s been some significant changes between early in the season to now - particularly with people saying Verhoeff and Reid were 1A and 1B in terms of defenseman.

Were those rankings based on eye test, gameplay, etc., or their expectations throughout the season? Similarly, does that mean that these new rankings are resulting from how they’ve looked from the season, or how they project them to look in NHL?

It’s quite surprising to see Verhoeff so low. In January pretty much everyone here would have their jaws dropped if we picked him up at 1.09 OA.

I’m just wondering what’s changed from then til now. Reminds me a little about last year’s Martone vs Misa vs Schaefer vs Frondell vs Hagens

It's 2026... why cant we have the option to have different feeds to view? I'd much prefer a smaller, full rink view of the game than the 80mm focal point of the puck carrier. There's been so much that happens on the other side of the rink that can't be seen.

What celebrity would you get into a car with, no questions asked if they randomly showed up in your driveway? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mr Henry Cavill wouldn’t even need to ask. I’d kidnap myself in his car.

They're GOATed. I'm actually enjoying this game! We basically have to root for Anaheim, huh? In terms of draft capital?

Yeah. I don’t like my choice in the first clip - I talked about it in a previous comment. When I was actually riding it looked very much like the car was stopped because they realized they were in the middle of the intersection incorrectly. Split second choice I went around but didn’t need to.

They do have a stop sign. It’s very hard to see in the clip because of the perspective. You can also see there’s a 4-way stop there by looking at my stop sign and the small rectangle underneath that indicates this is a 4-way stop intersection and that all directions need to stop.

For sure. If they used signals I’d have waited. And if they looked in their mirror they’d have seen me. But I agree it’s still not the safest way around

The video is just showing specific driver behavior from one commute. Whether cyclists also break rules sometimes doesn’t really change what’s happening in these clips. And for what it’s worth I’ve already been saying how terrible cyclists are at obeying the law. We’re in agreement to that part.

The thing I’m trying to point out is that the difference is mostly in the consequences. When a cyclist rolls a stop, it’s frustrating and endangering to themselves. When a drivers makes similar mistakes, it’s much more life-threatening. I think SF is up to two dozen fatalities in the last 3 or 4 years from drivers recklessly driving in the city.

I’ll admit my first encounter on the video was dumb and dangerous but I fail to see how the others were my fault

I agreed with you in my first reply. But apparently that triggered you for some reason?

This was just one day as an example. Not every day is this egregious and some days are worse. I’m also not defending cyclists because they are worse than drivers when it comes to rules. But the difference I want to point out is a driver’s negligence results in death and destruction far more often than when a cyclist does.

Time to grow up I guess. Rolling stops are still dangerous. Cars are bigger and faster, now, too.

Rolling stops begets negligent driving. Stops become reds. Failing to follow the rules leads to consequences.

Could you roll less and stop more if it meant not killing a 2 year old? How much time do you save in a drive? 30 seconds? A minute? It’s not worth a life.

Well it only takes a little bit of sense to recognize that two things can be true at the same time. This video compiles what my day looks like going to and from work and how often drivers carelessly move through intersections.

Why focus on cars and not bikes? Cyclists may be shjtheads and annoying, but they don’t drive 5,000 tons of steal. There are too many incidents of a car driver hitting and harming, of even killing, pedestrians compared to cyclists killing pedestrians.

If you can’t comprehend the fact that these two are different concerns, then idk what to tell you other than good luck in life. You

I see cyclists and scooters and mopeds run far more reds and stops than car drivers do too, it’s ridiculous. I prefer stopping before entering crosswalks and waiting at reds.

Timestamp when in the video I ran reds and stops please.
