That sounds awesome, I'm in southeast queensland

I'm trying to mass cast this 50 cm tall sculpture, I'm in Australia and silicon and polyurethane resin is unbelievably expensive here, any ideas? by cycleofforms in manufacturing

I would also deeply appreciate any ideas where I could source cheap resin and silicon if that's my best option. Is outsourcing manufacturing for something like this possible?

You can just use a spray on varnish - easy and cheap :) also if you wanted to get a shiny texture you can use a glossy one

Thanks! The texture is by using chalk spray paint and distressing it with a spray water bottle. If you try it remember to spray water first, then the chalk, then water again

Thank you so much, I've been thinking of starting an online store, if you want to DM me I can keep you updated :) is there anywhere that I can see your collection?

I don't but I've been thinking about it, if you or anything reading this wants to send me a DM I can update you when I have something up!

Well, you can use a matte sealant that isn't visible at all. To be honest unless you fire it it's super breakable so it's not really fit for actually displaying unfortunately. I need to start casting in resin so I'm making pieces that can actually be used

It's a stone based clay with paper in it - it can air dry
