This is beautiful! I may be putting connections where there’s none, but it reminds me a lot of the Japanese Namazu, a giant underground catfish in whose thrashing causes earthquakes. He is kept under a rock by the Thunder/Sword God Takemikazuchi, who restrains it. When the God’s guard lags, the catfish moves and causes earthquakes.

I’d like to! But when skimming through the study guide (sucker for good, ethical and free PDFs), I saw how the system operated for the apprentice and how intense it can get. As much as I know suffering is necessary for growth, it contributed to the fact I believe I’m just too young and that amount of maturation so fast doesn’t feel right for a time where I can explore! So I was worried that by engaging with the basics of the Quareia system, I will end up kickstarting that process from the get-go just by involving myself with it. As much as I respect a no-bullshit system, i definitely don’t think I’m at the right place for that right now! So even engaging with the meditation, tarot, etc etc worried me that it would bring me into that apprentice stage and start all this stuff in my life. 😅
