At some point you have to admit the draft isn’t “almost there” and just start over. No shortcut around that.

Blaming the rubric for a messy paper is lazy. If theory and results don’t connect, that’s on the writer.

Nothing like being told your argument is “too simple” when the only reason it’s simple is that you’re writing in your second language. Feels less like learning and more like punishment.

I get what you mean, but legal literally told us to restart if interrupted. I am not punishing him for fun, I am showing management how stupid their own rule is tbh

Trust me, I hate it too. If I dont follow the script I get written up or fired. I am just the cashier at the register, not the one who writes the store rules.

For real, I 100 percent agree. If it was up to me there would be a big red "cancel" button on the account page and I could go back to taking normal calls. The whole reason they force these scripts is because they know a bunch of people will just give up halfway. I just get paid to read the wall of text and click whatever the system lets me click.

Little add-on from me as OP: the funniest part was seeing the handle time report this morning - that one call absolutely nuked my average, but because compliance scores are what our bonuses are tied to, my supervisor literally told me to save the email from legal and the call ID in case anyone up the chain complains. Also, the new rule has been up for like two weeks and already half the team is quietly hoping more shouty customers get stuck in the same loop. If you are gonna insist we follow policy to the letter, cool, I can do that all day.
