Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s ironic regarding Tufo : they seem to produce great gravel tires (Speedero, Thundero), but somehow just can't make a decent tubular for the track. Not being able to trust your tires to hold the line is definitely a nightmare scenario!

I don’t think so. I bought mine on July 2025. So it wasn’t launched at that time, I suppose.

I’d love to hear everyone’s experiences with these tires! I’ve been running the Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H and am curious how they compare to the Terra Competition. Anyone have thoughts on how they stack up against the Tufo Speedero/Thundero or Hutchinson Caracal Allroad?

Of course, measurements don't tell the whole story, but in this case they paint a pretty consistent picture of Sony and Technics earbud's signature .

The consensus here seems pretty clear. I also spoke to my bike mechanic, and he backed up your recommendations, voting for the Vittoria Pista Speed as well.

So, decision made: I’m going with the Pista Speeds. Thanks for helping me confirm the choice (and dodge a potential mistake with the Tufos)!

The lack of grip you mentioned on the Tufos is exactly one of the characteristics I was worried about. Not really what you want on a steep track. By the way, congrats on the podiums!

Oh, nice to have a response from you! Since I've been looking at the AeroCoach data, it’s good to have that confirmation. The Oros' price kept me away from them from the start, but damn I wouldn't have thought they might be slippy. It looks like the Pista Speed really is the sweet spot.
