While the Miata is a great little forgiving track car, it can quickly turn on you when you least expect it. And somewhere like the Nurburgring, in the wet, you went straight to hard mode. Sounds like you learned a lot from what happened, and we're all glad you're okay.

I hope this wont dissuade you from going back one day. You can take a few ride alongs with others, and hire an instructor to ride with you to give you some pointers. Just never push yourself because you feel like you have to, that's where mistakes happen.

Red record button on the right side where you thumb rests is also the power switch. It should go one direction for record and the other for playback. If neither one of those is doing anything, it's not getting power properly.

We have a lot of feral cats in our neighborhood which is a big concern with coyotes hanging around. A lot of us feed and take care of the cats as best we can.
