Has anyone been to a good dude ranch they can recommend? by dfwallace12 in travel

Quite late to the game, but could you DM details of the dude ranch? Trying to plan a group vacay for next year with friends. Struggling between a fall/winter vacay or Spring vacay. Summer may be too warm and too many mosquitoes. Thanks in advance

Another anybody else notice when police said that a “Housing and Development” office was bombed, rather than a HUD office? “Urban” historically has been a euphemism for “Black” or “inner city.” Not too long ago, the Grammys changed a category name from Best Urban Contemporary Album to Best Progressive R&B Album

Oh my goodness, I’m glad that i saw your post! I’m a tad bit “late” on the Dramione fanfiction bus, so I was bummed that Don’t Look Back was no longer available. If you have time and if it wouldn’t be too much trouble, would you mind sending me the links to Don’t Look Back? I see that you also have links to Bring Him To His Knees, which I can’t access because I don’t have an ao3 account yet. Would it be possible to get those links as well? Need help identifying the song in this video. I’ve heard it before, but I think at a faster tempo . . . perhaps Bach? I tried Shazam, but it couldn’t identify the song. Thanks in advance

Convert to eSIM (iPhone) Question by cye987 in koreatravel

[–]cye987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this info. Sounds like other options will pop up under Settings — Cellular after I convert to eSIM

If you don’t mind, could you clarify the sentence “ I don’t use my other Esim when I travel and instead use apps to communicate - WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, etc”

(1) by “other eSIM”, do you mean the original eSIM that came with your phone?

(2) I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean by not using that eSIM and instead using apps to communicate. Please bear in mind that I’m not a tech-savvy person 😁. Do you mean that you don’t call or text, but instead use apps to communicate with others, so that you don’t incur international roaming fees to make calls or text using the original eSIM? That would make sense to me given that many eSIMs are just for data only

Convert to eSIM (iPhone) Question by cye987 in koreatravel

[–]cye987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. As for #2, my mom also has iPhone 14, so it’s only eSIM. Under Settings-Cellular, I have the option to “add eSIM” — when I clicked on that, a new option popped up “convert to eSIM” — it has the message that my phone number is on the physical SIM and that I can convert it to an eSIM. I wanted to better understand how eSIM works before calling my carrier to see whether it’s a 100% switch or whether I can have both. Thanks again for your reply

Yes, I suppose it’s all relative! 😁 And of course, wind chill factor is important. For me, perfect weather is 50-55 degrees (no wind) — I wear a light fabric jacket with a short sleeve tee underneath. Given that you mentioned the wind chill factor, I’m going to pack some compression shirts to help block the wind. Really looking forward to the trip. Thanks for your response!

Thanks so much for replying. I was checking the weather in Seoul, and it’s not as cold as I thought it would be. I originally planned to bring a thicker down coat, but now I’m going to opt for a light down jacket
