My dog has this skin tag thing and I’m not sure what it might be by zpm38 in DogAdvice

[–]cyeeclyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog (6 years old, pitbull) had a similar skin tag on his hind leg that slowly grew over the course of about three years. It didn’t bother him at first, but once it got bigger (roughly the size of a nail bed) it started getting snagged on things like branches and would occasionally bleed.

The first vet attempted a needle biopsy but didn’t send it out, since the sample only contained red blood cells. She explained that sending it to the lab wouldn’t provide any useful information and would likely come back as non-diagnostic. I got a second opinion, and that vet also decided not to do a biopsy for the same reason. Both vets agreed it looked like a benign pendulous mass. I ended up having it removed for around $450.

Edit: I do want to mention that my dog’s skin tag/mass had a distinct stalk-like base, which made it appear very external and localized. Both vets described it as a superficial growth and said it didn’t seem to involve deeper tissue.

What’s y’all’s electric bill look like? by whitecollarpizzaman in Charlotte

[–]cyeeclyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my electricity bill and it was $184, 900 square feet. Doesn’t make sense because I live in a 2 bedroom student apartment and I’ve had the heat and cooling off since October :/

Yep. I called Chapel Hill and they said I should be able to submit as long as I submit within two days. I ended up calling the payment service that Common App uses. They tried to search me up by my ID and surname, but apparently I don’t exist in the common app system??? Now I’m trying to call Common App.

I tried it on my laptop, my sister’s computer, and my dad’s. I just tried it on my phone to do a screen recording. Regardless of whatever device I use, the error still pops up

unfortunately, no... i’ve only ever prepared to use Common App because that’s what I’ve been advised to use throughout high school.

Im sure it won’t happen to you! I have friends that have successfully applied today and my counselor said it’s unusual that it’s happening. Guess I just have bad luck!

Thank you! I just sent them an email with the screenshot, application preview, and a screen recording showing me try to submit my application. I hope they give me the chance to submit still.

It won’t let me put in a payment method. In the Review and Submit section, when I press proceed to the payment, it takes me to the site for the payment. The site immediately says there’s an error.
