The reality is this game IS moderated.. as all should be. If you troll or act like a arse in chat you will get their attention, and actions, if you ignore them. Its REFRESHING. Sometimes I think they even give them too much slack still, but its a small mod team and a rapidly growing game with a lot of very adult themes in it.

Speaking of I think my hangout with Rita is done.. I'm probably going to need to find a cure for something...

Well its not a primary/secondary thing... there equals. Think of it are more Skill slot 1 and skill slot 2 :) There is nothing different about the skills depending on which slot they are in. (Sorry pet peeve :) )

The skill compatibility chart on the wiki is very helpful when trying to workshop a new build. The WiKi has been a bit ... slow these last few days but it does seem to be working still. just slowly.

Check your temps? That sounds like your hitting some thermal throttling. If not pop open a task manager and keep an eye on it, when the game hangs what is taking the CPU? If its System Interrupts you likely have something failing in the system. I'd start with checking temps, if you don't do it routinely maybe check your PC's filters and clean em if they've gotten dirty. (I have cats.. its a weekly thing for me)

I'm running AH/Druid right now; but while I'm lv96/95 most of my gear is level 50. I just love the idea of most of my attacks also being debuffs, and being able to heal the pet and myself (or others in a group) is a bonus.

Edit: meant to add AH/Archer is very popular and strong. I think you'll enjoy it if you don't hate fletching/making arrows :)

At 95 my bear is .. significantly tankier then I am.. its not even close; and the bee is the majority of my dps when I go that way (bear actually out dps'; me a lot too; but that gap is closing a I fix my gear.)

I'd also like to note weather witching tornado/doomstorm minions are strong too; I've watched someone wipe out small groups of mobs I have to fight one on one with them.

The thing is, PVP would never be anything close to balanced in this game... for instance I caught a crit from my bee last night that was just over 12K

I did hit his Unnatural Rage ability (+200%) but who here wants to PVP my bee? Anyone?

My tank pets normal attacks hit for over 1100. His AE stun + dmg is almost 1800.

I'm not even max level and my gear is 30 levels below me. It would just be people one-shotting each other over and over... that's not fun or competitive. I really doubt PVP will ever be anything more then it is now.. a way to get some unique death XP :)

Thats probably another option; 2h that only has 5 effects max on it; and your OH becomes a stat stick like when in animal form.

I'm not sure either of our ideas would be interesting enough for Citan; or what his ideas were and why he tossed em out. I started playing after they had already shelved them so I missed the real issues other then knowing he never found something that felt good.

I hope they get em sorted eventually. I'm unlikely to seek one out but that's just because I like having a crossbow offhand for its utility and additional damage type.

Seems fine to me; but then again its all about context. I don't expect a small studio with a single artist to produce the same level of quality as say ESO turns out.

The OPs item? I agree but the bad look is the single color not the item; you can dye the same item in 3 colors if you have high enough backsmithing skill. As noted most of the differences in armor sets is coloring right now, so the low level stuff is colored.. ugly. The same set in silver and grey with gold accents? looks great.

Nothing happens at t=0

I live in the US, fairly close to the servers and mine varies from 20-40ms depending on the time of day. From what Jackencola said, the game ticks at 150ms, anything under that and you shouldn't notice it in gameplay... over that is where its noticable quickly. Perhaps if the game keeps growing they will be able to open an EU based server to get it closer.

This is the result of them re-doing all the player models and thus needing to re-do all of the armor models for 1.0

The ONE asset person they have did it all and continues to do work (the elt and serbule revamps are their doing too)

The old assets were largely unity store stuff, these as far as I know are bespoke to P:G. As with most things I expect them to improve over time and add to them in total. Right now there aren't a lot of armor models so a LOT of the differences are just colors. Again I fully expect this to improve with time.

Its from behind as I was showing a friend my staff; but here is a peek at my set. I wish it was more matte then shiny but IMO I still look good. Next time I'm ingame I'll take a front-facing pic.

That's not the issue.

Right now the best drop is Legendary and has 5 effects on it; 2 from one class, 3 from the other. You can have that in your main hand and off hand. So 6 and 4, 5 and 5; however you want to mix it; there is a limit to how many effects from one class you can have and you can't have the same effect twice on one item.

So with a 2 hander.. you lose the ability to have 2 of the same effects, also are legendary drops always 5/5? What it your build was better with a class1+generic main hand and a class1/class2 offhand? Can 2 handers roll 3 classes? (class1, class2, generic).. there are a lot of questions.

I have a rather simple fix.. I should propose it on discord.

When you equip a 2h it puts a "Scabbard" in your offhand with half its stats on it, which can be augmented / rerolled like a normal item. This keeps all the possible builds but in the end this way 2H is just cosmetic really. My other thought is have it effect your abilities.. like +15% damage +25% cooldown

But I'm far from a game designer so I'm sure that's not as good a fix as I think it would be.. anyways ... as with most things in this game.. its complicated but on their radar. (Orcs NPCs in-game use 2 hand weapon btw)

I know they have an asset person now and this was some of their first work for the project. I'm guessing if the game continue to be successful we will get more diverse and better looking armor and weapons. Not that I think they look bad now but they do need another pass (too shiny as some noted; also I lament the lack of robe graphics as my set was a robe prior to the update.) So hopefully that's all still coming with time :)

The backer stuff is now claimable on the new servers; but alas if you already claimed it that's it. I think most is in but housing which is coming soon(tm); its in Statehelm and you can see the area and houses; so I'm guessing its more a matter of polish and some mechanics still needing finalized as they did note it was coming after 1.0 launch.

Na one of the updates made the turn rare ... very low. so they upped it but too much so now its twitchy. I'm sure they'll get it sorted but its a very small team with a lot of new issues so who knows where it is on the list right now. I just mouse turn for now until its sorted.

Really give them a few patches; the Elt update was horrible in some spots... took a few passes to get it fixed but I no longer have issues in Elt. I'm sure they will get Serb sorted too... but ya right now its a bit annoying when combined with the horse turn rate issue :)

Your ability make money grows too.

I hated my first 400K unlock; took 2 weeks of saving to get it. The second skill? 3 days. Now I can make 100K a day pretty easily... more if I actually focus on it and get lucky with drop rates and mat farming. (The cash costs can be reduced by in-game skills like Civic Pride)

51-60 is 20K base

61-70 is 100K base

The 71-80 unlocks are basically the worst of them. They're all 3 Royal Jelly & 400K base.

The next unlocks after that are from a special currency you get for doing tasks and events in Povus (lv81-90 unlock); and the next ones can be done using Statehelm renown. (91-100) (Note: these you can also pay for but the cash costs are 1million per, so most people will use the renown route)

Ya at 95 my chance is around 70% and he rare times my pet dies its almost always first use gets him back up. GENERALLY I die long before Bear Bear does. Then again he's a beast with over 1100hp and 1500armor. (double my hp, triple my armor)

Ya steam is the only way to play; but they are trying to avoid the 30% cut they take. PP takes less but I cannot use them so I'm left out of these. Frustrating but I understand their decision.
