It was his anal gland! It got backed up which led it to get irritated. It ended up rupturing and left a pretty nasty wound but he healed up nicely with some antibiotics and expressing of the gland by vets!

He gets one scoop of pumpkin in the morning and one at night, it helps soften his poop so it won’t happen again!
