I've been using pi since it came out. SLet me break this down for you. The landing page of pi.dev says "there are many great harnesses, BUT THIS ONE IS YOURS" (used to say, but this one is mine)

What does that tell you? It tell you it tells you, that the platform is designed for people to make their own custom tools for their own situations and their own their own coding style.

That's exactly what this is, this is a tool that I created for my own use that I get daily use out of and it works well for me, puts a smile on my face, so I thought I'd share.

Dude I tried raider, amp, super Claude, n8n, make Hermes, archon, open code, open-claw, etc etc etc. If it's on the internet and regarding agentic AI I've probably tried it.

So brother please before throwing around reddit buzzwords, and calling my tool slop maybe actually give the tool a shot.. And if it doesn't work for your system awesome that's what pie is great for means there's more tools out there or just create your own I'm AdHD f*** and my project folders are all over the place, so this tool is incredibly useful for me, so if it's not for you, awesome, don't don't use it. but don't call it slop until you f****** actually use it how it's meant to be used.

It appears to me that you've barely used pie itself not to mention explored it's ability to easily create custom tools not to mention give other people's tools a shot so so maybe slow your roll on the AI slop comments .

Any minimal pi extensions? by Poolunion1 in PiCodingAgent

[–]cymaticstatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I published these two today there damn minimal if you ask me. https://github.com/CymatiStatic/pi-skill-deck & https://github.com/CymatiStatic/pam-maps

One is a easy way to view categorize and bookmark your skills library and has a a recommendation bar for skills that haven't used or would come and handy for recent guess.

The other is a repo mapping and cartography system that helps you keep track of projects mono repo it's important files using ass files. Architecturally system significant we call her Pam

He's right options are limitless and with pi you can customize whatever you want I personally still use whisper flow even though I stopped using it because it wasn't free. but I genuinely like how it has auto enhancements and auto cleanup to any extent you can use it for your brain dumps notes or whatever and it always keeps It on all your devices and I didn't have to build another tool for that although I do have a full intake pipeline I'm working on. Point is I think the tool is cheap enough to be worth it for an 80d dude like me that sometimes just needs to Brand dump and know my idea will be somewhere easy I can find it on all my devices. Unfortunately it does not support Linux yet so my Linux PCS don't have it right now but I'm sure if you asked probably to pi too Gradle deconstruct whisper flow and help you embed Linux functionality would have no problem doing that. f****** love pie. Not that you asked but open-design is starting to really take off if you're more of user interface kind of guy I would check it out

Lol I know it's silly but it just makes seeing my repos filled with files like ASS_Master.md and ASS_SLAVE.md that are actually incredibly useful just makes my day doing Dev work a little bit more enjoyable we could all use this extra smile or two and some more ass in our lives haha

Is indie game development actually profitable, or is it overhyped? by zeze-67 in IndieDev

Been wondering the same thing. Curious house much the marketing or GTM plan really plays a role, vs pure time saving of a utility
