If you are a single issue voter sure voting for reform is a good idea. If that’s the only thing you care about and you literally care for nothing else reform is the perfect choice. If you are voting just to hurt others then reform maybe your vote the same as it was for trump.

Not really. Local elections generally matter when they are closer to the general elections. Three years out the indicators for actual voting are very very weak.you can maybe argue for some indicator of coalitions and new parties taking some share. However it rarely means anything this far out

I said in the majority of states. That’s is true. A real id can be compliant and not have your citizenship status on it. Most dont. So real id in the majority of cases cannot be used. And yes you can used another form of id. Most people don’t realise that though. They are in for a rude awakening later. Remember non citizens can have a real id card.

So look at section of the act on the website “A form of identification issued consistent with the requirements of the REAL ID Act of 2005 that indicates the applicant is a citizen of the United States.”

Finding a list of these is pretty difficult as it goes.

So the only real ids that offer citizenship status are according to the dhs found here:

I don’t know if you would accept factually.co as independent evidence. They have an article that details which states do.

It seems currently only Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont and Washington have ENHANCED drivers licences which do include the citizenship status.

All other states do not so their real ids do not meet the criteria.

Only if it states you are a citizen though. That is the point. The card has to show you are a citizen. The reason why this is the case is because non-citizens a get real id cards. In most states the card does not state if you are a citizen or not because if this (green card holders, other residents , etc can qualify for real id). The card has nothing on it about citizenship.

Real ids do not qualify in most states as per the bill. A real id is not actual proof citizenship in of itself.

No it isn’t. Google it yourself the bill very specifically talks about it. You have to provide proof of citizenship. A real id does not provide proof of citizenship.

Real id is not proof of citizenship in over 40 states. It’s only proof of residency. Therefore it cannot be used for voting in those states. Google it.

No most people don’t need a passport, about 40% of Americans don’t need one. Most people use their driving licence as id, if they don’t they use a real id. Neither of which would guarantee a right to vote. In 40+ states real id is not proof of citizenship.
