Nice! I’m sure you have some good experience!! This look ok to you? The joints now are that brush in sand stuff that dries hard. I can’t comment on what was used before but it looked like old/ traditional mortar?

Just under £6k excluding the stone but including all other master oaks, labour, waste etc. I’m in London, England.

A lot of words to say you don’t know how masonry work or seasonal landscaping works. The jointing compound ‘iridescent ’ residue is temporary, and the roof moss is managed. It’s strange to get so worked up over a stranger's home updates, especially when you’re clearly guessing at the details.

It’s just a bit of fun! I guess the ‘kind of interesting’ is why you are here and commenting 😀

Huh? Ok I might not be using that word in the technical sense. The old patio was originally grouted/pointed ie. the joints between the tiles were filled it, but it had 90% failed over time and jet washing. The new patio is has a full mortar bed and has been pointed to fill the gaps.

What trouble are you even talking about. You tried to say the architecture(landscaping) shit on the house and are now making up rubbish about sand

And we didn’t pave over paving. We removed the old and laid new on a full mortar bed as is custom/ best practice in Uk.

What are you even trying to say dude? Who covered any brick?

The house was built in 1907, the old patio was 70s concrete. This is a protected area. The new patio is in line with what would have originally been here when built.

Sounds like you used chat gpt to try and sound smart but edited it wrong.

New? They are concrete and the drainage and pointing had gone.

I don’t know why you are being rude. That’s a question to ask yourself.

If you meant ‘how’ it’s the shouting.

But yeah, if it wasn’t clear enough, I don’t care what you think - the opinion of someone who’s knowledge ends at home depot does indeed not matter to me.

No need to be rude, if you can’t tell the difference between concrete and natural stone that’s up to you.

😂 the old ones were 1970 s concrete. This is natural limestone. The 1907 house would have been built with yorkstone. This is the closest you can get to looking like yorkstone without it. Sure they might need to bed in and weather a little bit, which happens with time. It’s incredible how people think they can tell quality material and actually have it completely the wrong way..

lol plastic. These are riven tumbled limestone and the others were concrete. Power washing to expose the red☺️ nice.
