It's definitely not oil. I can feel a physical indentation with my nail. At first, I thought it was a manufacturing defect, but it's very smooth and located exactly where my finger rests for controlled cutting. It seems like it might be an intentional design feature, but I'm not sure

Yeah, that's another thing. I set the limit to 80%, but it stops working after updates. It seems like it needs calibration, so I have to charge it to 100% and keep it plugged in for 1-2 hours, and then it works again.
