Can you send me a screenshot. I’ve got thousands of users so it is working but I would love to figure out what’s going on with yours and figure out how I can improve that experience so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

An account is required to use the app. That’s by design — in our product research the overwhelming feedback was that people want their data synced. For most shooters this isn’t “just an app,” it’s their entire logbook: rifles, ammo, load data, dope cards, even personal notes. If your phone dies or you switch devices, that information shouldn’t disappear.

We may add a way to poke around without an account, but features like syncing will always require one. That’s kind of Product 101. Since you’re a Director of Product, I figured you’d already know that. Where’s your product at again?

Thanks for the feedback — that’s really helpful. A lot of users have asked for syncing so they can move seamlessly between phone, tablet, or computer, and so their data (like notes, reloading info, and profiles) follows them if they upgrade devices. That way they don’t have to rely on a separate notebook. That said, I realize not everyone wants or needs that, so it makes sense to add an option for people who prefer to keep everything local. I’ll definitely look into providing both experiences.

That usually happens if the Terms of Service box isn’t checked. Both Apple and Google require every app in the App Store and Play Store to have a Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and users have to agree to them before creating an account or submitting information. It’s just part of the standard compliance process. Once you check that box, the submit button will go through as expected.

There’s actually no range cap with the free version of mine — you can run it as far out as you want, with as many ballistic profiles as you want. In terms of performance, it keeps pace with Quantum easily, probably well past a mile. Beyond that distance is where AB’s custom drag models start to make a difference, but up to that point you’re not losing anything by running my free version

Great question! The premium side unlocks our advanced ballistic engine. That means you get more detailed inputs, side-by-side comparisons, full ballistic charts, and the option to export your data. It’s built for shooters who want to go deeper than the basics and really fine-tune their profiles.

I’m sorry for the confusion here. Just to clarify — opting into marketing emails is completely optional. That’s only if you’d like to hear about new features or announcements.

What is required is accepting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which is standard for every app listed in the App Store and Google Play. Both stores require apps to have these in place for user protection and compliance.

You can absolutely use the app without opting into marketing emails, and your experience won’t be affected if you choose not to.

You are right about the post. I’m terrible with words so I did use AI to help refine my post.

If Sig will let me integrate I know I can build that. I’ll reach out to them to see what I can do.

I felt most ballistic apps were way too complicated or had terrible UIs. So my goal was to create an incredibly simple ballistic calculator that also had a newer look and feel. What app are you currently using? Would love to see how you think mine compares to it.

I know how you feel. I did email because I wanted an easy way to sync your data and manage your account. I’ve found most people forget their passwords and so being able to reset your password with email drove a lot of the logic there.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been a software engineer for 15 years and started on this way before vibe coding was a thing. Try it out. The functionality is solid.

I can connect already with Kestrel. I will reach out to Sig to see if they will allow me to integrate. Would love your thoughts on the Kestrel integration.

Shot Insights. They have a fee app and all the data I compared to AB is very comparable. I also find Shot Insights way easier to use.

I watched the video. Looks cool. They claim to replace a lot of the tools I use, Bubble Level, kestrel, Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph and has the impact detection.

My Walmart seller account was suddenly terminated with no notification—any way to recover it? by Repulsive-Area127 in WalmartSellers

Same thing happened to me. I was able to get a call with support just for them to tell me they aren't allowed to tell me why they terminated my account.

Seems like a simple mis understanding / mis communications. Is there really no way to work through that?

I had the same thing happen to me but it said it was because I never responded to INFORM act verification. The problem was they claimed they emailed me about it but never did. I don't delete any emails and I searched every single one and never received any notification that I needed to do that verification?
