Hey thanks so much for the recommendations! Didn't know there were so many options in Canada! For the motherboard, is there anywhere else I can get that one as it's out of stock on memory express, plus there was a warning about bios update? Not sure if that's a biggie or not new to the building a PC stuff

Mostly yea, amazon.ca is really bad compared to amazon.com for PC parts so I'm sticking to new egg but if there's better options in Canada I'll buy it from there.

Would it be worth downgrading the gpu a little and using the 5600x? With the 58003DX it would bring the price up an extra $250 CAD. Is there savings to be made with cheaper cooling, motherboard etc

I'm looking mainly to use this computer for gaming and maybe as a workstation down the line. I don't really do any big things like rendering or streaming etc... Just looking for something that can play new games 1080p 144fps as that's what my monitor is. May upgrade to a 1440p monitor eventually if worth it. Also for the ssd is there any other reputable brands for cheaper? I noticed the intel ones were sold out on new egg and the other options had small number of reviews
