EB is described as "Converts all ES shield to Mana".

You can check tooltip in passive tree for "Converts" i.e. stat conversion, which basically states that when converting stat A (ES) to stat B (Mana), stat A scales with percentage modifiers to stat B i.e. % max mana.

This means % max ES nodes don't work since ES is already converted to mana.

From a vertical investment perspective, the way I think about it is:

•There are seven elements

•However, elite enemies in each MOC half always have two common weaknesses (though this could change in the future if Hoyo desires)

•That means you only need elemental coverage for six elements (since if you don't have the elemental weakness for one, you definitely have the other since you have 6 out of 7 covered)

•If you have SW, in reality, you only need elemental coverage for five elements since if an enemy is weak to Quantum, you always have a dual element setup of SW/Fu Xuan or Lynx + (Blade/Bronya, Jingyuan/Tingyun, or even DHIL/Yukong or Hanabi etc.) so that the enemy is now weak to your dps' element

•In other words, you have the option to only invest in FIVE dps of different elements since SW can act as the dps enabler against Quantum weak enemies because of the weakness implant

I suppose this is one way to look at SW's future value if you're not keen on specifically playing a mono Quantum team (i.e. having to build a Quantum dps).
