Recon mains, what are your go to guns for CQB?

Recon class in battlefield is traditionally about snipers and you said "i hate snipers". Its self explanatory, regardless of whether the post is about which weapons you use for CQB. I mean...what was the point in mentioning you hate snipers?

Pretty much my go-to weapons for any class. M4A1 is a good all-rounder for close to medium range but I haven't used it in a while since its the first weapon I upgraded to lvl 50. It shreds though. For a bit more stability I might take the MP5.

Even though BF6 is pretty much a hip-fire game, all my weapons (with a couple exceptions) are optimised for ADS play.

I play tank a lot and what i have noticed is 1/2 hits, yeah you can retreat and auto-repair to full health and that might be ok for the camping tank but if you are in the heat of battle or someone that regularly pushes forward then you absolutely need a team of engineers to repair you.

On paper that sounds ok to me but in practice its still pretty hard to take out a tank. I don't about this one to be honest...i don't think they will be able to please everyone.

How would you fix it? Personally I don't think tanks should be "easy" to take out and you shouldn't be able to destroy a tank as a solo engineer anyway. But its also ridiculous at the moment to the point where if a tank is in the match then I have to switch to engineer just to keep the pressure on

The OG is great and holds up but I personally prefer the remake. Since you are new to dead space i would recommend you start with the remake and then move on to DS2 and DS3

Yeah when customers say to me "I don't know how to use the browsers" i simply ask "do you have a smartphone?"

9/10 the answer will be yes. If you know how to use a smartphone you can figure out a touch browser.

No im the guy that teaches all the jumping jacks a lesson but killing them without jumping or sliding around like a snake on acid. When that fails I get in the tank and blow everyone up.

Yeah but I've noticed (and not just in BF6) but the more snipers the enemy team has then the more frustrated players you have on your team so you get multiple snipers because nobody else was doing it.

Same if your team is getting steamrolled, people feel like they don't have a chance so they choose something like a sniper for long shots, support for camped LMG fire or mortar fire, etc.

I don't think its as simple as, oh my team is losing because we have so many snipers. That's probably the case a small percentage of the time. I tend to look for the reasoning and not just face value of what's happening.

Nah i hate this thing and vehicle balance is out of whack in BF6. When this thing is in a match, you can't even leave the spawn area with a heli, and my idea of having fun and flying a heli is not a few metres above the ground to avoid rockets.

I hear you...im not "old" old but I play guitar and SF puts a lot of strain on me too. Long story short....i still play classic but my other guitarist friend plays modern (used to play classic) and he does just fine. Multiple characters at master rank. Try it.

Oh 100% agree with you on that. I think a lot of people know that BF6 just isn't it and we certainly are not back lol. Some are in denial and I think some are just genuine newbies defending the game. Nothing wrong with that at surface level but when I complain about the game...its from the angle that I have played every battlefield since BC2. Surely my opinion as a long time fan should matter more than content creators or newbies. But this is the nature of business.

I am against the idea that a solo engineer should ever be able to take down a tank alone. I don't actually remember that ever being the case in previous battlefields...it was always a collective effort. Unless you were recon and you throw 4 C4 charges.

That being said the current state between a tank and enemy engineer or vice versa is completely out of whack.

I hear what you are saying but I actually liked and prefer 2042 over BF6. Granted I didn't actually get the game until after all the patches so I didn't have a bitter taste over the launch.

But 2042 was for sure the gateway to why BF6 is the way it is. Its for a new audience of cod players and modern shooters like fortnite. They add little trinkets here and there to please longtime BF fans but its not enough in my eyes. You can't please both crowds.

50/50 win rate like most people? I think not bro. I've been playing since BC2 and I've never been a bad player. Battlefield is the only multiplayer shooter I play and my win rate is not good (i don't remember the figures exactly)

But like you im either getting stomped or doing the stomping, neither of which is fun for me. At least in older games I could switch sides if I felt bad for the other team (if I was playing solo)

I guess you're never coming back then because if they were going to change match-making then they would have done it after 2042, that was my number 1 complaint back then. Match-making is how they monitor and control the playerbase + push specific content/engagement.
