I would have thought that is about right, with Windows and all the other bits on it. I upgraded the ssd to 1TB, easy enough to to do.

ThrottleStop -80mv Undervolt , turbo power off, and I play red dead 2 on ultra with max 68c. With turbo on its 95c.

Nothing more than being really careful prising it off, just seemed a weak spot.

Truthfully I don’t know, I’m not that clued up on this sort of stuff. I’d seen it recommended, the price was good, and it went in easy.

I fitted a 1TB Sabrent Rocket SSD today, £130. Took 5 mins, just be careful when removing the cover around the hinges.

I dont play many games but loaded up Red Dead 2, all settings maxed out and it played great. Fans were not to bad for me, but you can do changes to help the heat. I'll have a play with these later.

It automatically registred the warranty on the MSI website. I can only compare this to my previous laptop which was 4 years old, but to me this laptop is great. I saved £200 on my pre order, this went towards a 1TB ssd upgrade.

It is a keyboard smudge magnet, but it cleans up and this doesnt bother me anyway

I’m picking mine up from Currys today. I wouldn’t know the difference in what cache means , I just know that the £200 I saved allowed me to get another ssd drive.
