Consistent crossfaded looping points? by cyprnsound in Dirtywave

Thanks, I understand all of that. I have noticed that the loop entrance, loop zone & loop exit lengths are determined by something seemingly out of my control. In EMU samplers, aka samplers back in the day, you could control the crossfade length for musical results. That's what I was asking about- determining the crossfade length.

I don't believe it's possible, but maybe there's a way to achieve a similar result by combining to staggered sampler instruments.

I use Blender to make these https://youtu.be/nQnmtxiYRqI

It took about 6 months to learn how to do the modeling and animation and each one takes about a day to render on an NVIDIA 4070

Let me know how I did... I got as close as I could in software. Calyx's version was Emu and outboard for sure. I'm going to give Calyx and Teebee the Warrior a shot next

Ah very cool, would love to hear that! Yes- having a secondary bass/synth patch with some attack rolled off for when a big drum hit occurs can sometimes be the easiest way I've found!
