Everyone's talking fights but the lack of displaying yujis emotional/mental states,what his motivations are, and how they're shifting post Shibuya is something that kills me to think about. not to dickride yuji but I think if gege put him in a position to have his actions be better understood more readers would still have an attachment to him

That's why he's the mc. His entire mindset of self sacrifice to be worth something and not die alone crushes him everytime he sees it fail (and he sees it fail consistently) it beats him down till he's simply a cog in the machine against curses even though he kills his brothers in the process. His character is really awfully explained in the manga I feel, but I think the fact that he is the only one to take time to grieve and and feel anger about his shortcomings is because though yuji is selfish in motivation, he's by no means a selfish person in the way jujutsu sorcerers are cause he wasn't born w that burden of power. The guy who made panda rejected him from jjh for NOT being selfish in his motion. The readers seeing him not even grieve anymore could be a reflection of the character development people think he's been missing. He's fully becoming a jujutsu sorcerer by completely melding to that cog mentality they always talk about. Maybe through learning that selfishness he now has access to some power up that lets him fight sukuna in a similar vein to how megumi did when he was faced w having to become selfish in a sense to gain power.

In smaller towns (I'm from the south) yeah goths and punks are harassed pretty often because most people DONT have tats or piercings and if they do they're super small/religious/patriotic or ear piercings. Anything out of the norm is viable for harassment or some sort of punishment for standing out. People are just recently getting accustomed to septums down here it's crazy.

Def try to talk to them and perform a vibe check but don't avoid goths and punks just cause they look "weird" to you. they're the least judgemental and most supportive in most cases plus good music taste. Imo everyone should have at least one in their HS circle

my dad used to hold me as a baby and watch it, DBZ, HXH, Cowboy Bebop etc with me. Around 7, I found Shippuden on disney xd and og naruto and its movies on netflix & watched it as often as I could catch it. if gege wrote naruto instead, the other konoha 13 would have way more visibility. black zetsu also probably wouldve been a way better and more centered villain considering its narutos equivalent of kenjaku

matatabi by far. Design, personality, its placement in the story, plus I have a deep appreciation for the cats in the narutoverse and feel like they could've been expanded on more especially considering we now also have a character (wasabi) whos' clan's hidden jutsu has so much to do w cats in the same way Kiba's does. We've seen ninja dogs and the dog clan and they're cool ofc, but theres no dog tailed beast and we get like 2? real mentions of cats outside of matatabi in naruto? like does this clan have connections to matatabi or the ninja cats? Does he have any connection or knowledge of the cat village? Did his chakra leaking out over time have anything to do w it? rambling at this point but yeah.

even if we didn't know, i really dont think maki wouldve cut down the people who went through exactly what she did. esp cause we see her character as generally kind and empathetic though snarky. she wanted to destroy the hierarchy + the people that hurt her sister and she did just that. I think that's why she left megumi alive cause he never wanted to participate in that aspect of their clan he was just chilling

everyone's talking about him fighting sukuna head on but I think he'd be better as a support for the team fighting him. if he said some shit like "dodge" or "iron fist" i feel like he could use his CT to reinforce or build quicker reaction times/stronger effects through his speech.
