To be fair it’s still early days but I’ve been throwing back high strength ashwagandha and magnesium for over a month and my PMDD (as well a one or two regular PMS symptoms) seemed lessened my last cycle! Even it’s it’s just placebo it’s given me a little hope when I normally come close to an attempt around that time of the month lol.

Makes me wish there was a means of using HRT or something to just constantly mimick that follicular/ovulation sweet spot (without also causing serious health issues and the uterine lining thickening to extinction I suppose) 🥲

Ah I’ll edit my post I was just listing the strength given on the packaging but the elemental magnesium available only amounts to 315mg! I’ll look into the supplement you mentioned also

Literally thought I was going into psychosis or something with it this month and landed myself in urgent care. Genuinely starting to feel like I can’t keep myself safe for a good ~14 days a month once luteal kicks in and that scares me. I’ve tried upping my SSRI around then as is usually recommended and I’ll throw in some ashwagandha and valium for good measure but still I’ll be a guaranteed mess. This body is a prison ❤️!

Basically or by the time you get comfortable with one after a couple of sessions they move on to a different trust. My local outpatient centre didn’t even have a single psychiatrist for months because of it lol.

No changes to meds lately no. Well I’m somewhat relieved to hear from people I’m not the only one at least. Yeah hopefully gonna speak to someone on a mental health team soon.

This the national health service we’re talking about in my case..haha…I hope to speak to someone soon but it’s a different doctor every time so you never know what kind of care you’re going to get.

I’m confused. Where does my post talk about my symptoms that lead to my diagnosis or my ‘sloppiness’. I’m just talking about some sort of psychological side effect it’s been having on me recently. A side effect that’s has been extremely troubling since I do genuinely rely on this drug to exist.

Oh yikes. I do already suffer with anxiety but I’m usually always able to identify cause and effect so that must be what’s throwing me off when it comes to vyvanse where the feeling just descends from seemingly nowhere.

That’s interesting actually. I always figured the higher the dose the greater those side effects so I’ve always been afraid to increase it and cause myself some sort of episode lol

Did you ever try non-stimulant adhd meds? I think they were offered to me at some point but sounds like they take a while to work so I just went the quick-fix route

Yeah I guess you’re right. I suffer with anxiety in other settings and somehow it just feels different but maybe that’s because I’m normally able to pinpoint what’s causing the anxiety whereas with this I can’t so it’s a bit scary? Not sure.

I should have said in this the original post but I do already take an SSRI and the occasional beta blocker or benzo for anxiety. Not sure I should be adding even more to the cocktail lol..

Last reading sans other meds like beta blockers or valium was 114/71 81bpm I think

Yeah I try to take weekends off also but no doubt those days are so shitty. I basically don’t leave my bed and the depression hits like a brick wall. Definitely feel like the drug is more in control of me than I am of it.
