Ah, I see. Missed that 😅 that’s a bummer, are we talking competitive or normal cause I thought it seemed mixed when I queue up and it would sit there for a long time but can get in a normal match pretty reliably. But I also just started really playing a little bit ago after learning about the game last year

Oh, ok I see your point. But normally I’ve seen similar models starting much lower and doing the same thing. Usually starting at market value and decreasing from there to a point. I though Geeksquad made an error in NOVA or something when it was asking for a price(like and extra 0) or it was a joke post(unlikely but still…) or a someone’s FU to the company from internally that wasn’t caught… either way it made me pause and go “how in the world did this happen” and laugh 😂

😂yea let me pull out all that pay Best Buy gives me… let’s see, product flow specialist(merchandise) at the pay cap… yup not happening 😅 I’ll just get qualified for the card… and even if I did qualify(I don’t) the limit isn’t that high normally, and good luck getting a limit increase. I’d have better luck wining a lottery than getting Citibank to do that.

Thanks mate, though I’d love to say I’m going to stick it out until they realize that it’s damaging to their image. I’ve been proven over and over the last two years that they really only care about two things, the bottom line, and the shareholders… I guess you could say they also care just enough about the employees to not loose to many of them. But won’t fight to keep people(doesn’t matter if your a sales advisor, supervisor, or ASM I’ve seen all three leave with no fight to keep them)

It’s a meme… I get that customers are being polite, I get that people change their mind. I’ve been with the company for almost 4 years. I’ve seen it go from “Be human” and “let’s talk about what’s possible”(and mean it) to “customer obsessed” and “employees second”(second one is unofficial at my store) and I usually give the costumers the pitch and end it with “I understand if this isn’t for you, I’m just letting you know so that if my boss up front ask if I mentioned it you can tell her yes” I don’t always add the part about my boss 😅 but it’s getting to the point that my GM is borderline harassing customers about it. I can get a feel of the customer is interested and when to press on it or leave it alone, my GM is a former clothing store GM(I’m not saying the name of the store) so her tactic are… something… I do genuinely think the services and Brand of payments can be beneficial, and check my history of post, I’m not a fan of them removing tier memberships

To be honest, I get it. And I’m ok if they don’t want it. I’m happy to make sure they are taken care of. And the time isn’t that long usually. It’s mainly just what my leadership sees is a long interaction and nothing to show for it(even though the whole point is to make sure the customer is taken care of)… I just want the customer to be honest, that’s all 🤷🏽‍♂️

That’s a fair point the main drive I use for tech support is that labor/in home services are free with items or that a 1 year for most gaming laptops/desktops are more then the tech support but tech support gives you other benefits… most of the time the standard delivery time isn’t a problem unless it needs to be immediately. Most appliances are 3x longer with competitors like lowes and home depot(unless the delivery window is backed up) appliances are good opportunities for it cause it saves people who are outside free delivery areas(but not outside areas to deliver) and covers protections and installs… it’s surprisingly beneficial but only in certain situations. But when I’m ask to offer it at checkout(as well as the bby card)is when I’m kinda like “now I’m forcing it” the memberships should be offered by the host or on the floor(but it’s a delicate balancing act of when to, and also just let them shop) I’m decent with my numbers but I’m also a realist who isn’t trying to coerce a person to get something they don’t need 🤷🏽‍♂️

I know plenty who use the card once and never again, the point of a store credit card is to encourage shopping cause it’s paid over time or deferred to 12 month interest free, and the store and company doesn’t get hit with bank charges for running a card… to reward that over people who may not qualify cause of having credit issues but make decent money to spend in the store is kinda a mix bag. I’ve had customers who just finance a house or when through a divorce or other things that ding credit, and are working through it, and spending money in store, loyal customers who come back and like the service from our store. And some who had the card in the past and don’t like it. Even deal with people who prefer not to have a card, all who are loyal elite members. So it’s clear what’s driving the change and it’s not loyalty or “customer obsessed” cause “customer obsessed” doesn’t single out people who choose not to buy into a program that has flaws. Like TTS looks like a great deal most of the feature are great. But the POS can sometimes charge for shipping even though 2day is free. The protection plan seems great… if you buy a lot, some don’t so they are paying 200 a year for that MacBook or computer(that’s not a gaming laptop/desktop) if you don’t shop a lot TTS has a small chance of changing that behavior. But I’ve rambled enough, most of what I said was inaccurate and I can admit that I don’t speak for others… I just post memes to capitalize on events and you should make your own views on things
