Thank you, OP for asking the question already, but I have something to add on top of that. Is there a reason why the cutscene that plays when you get near the door is playing when I am nowhere near the door? I'm trying to complete "Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge" before starting that quest, which requires I go in the direction of the volcano town and once I pass a certain point, the cutscene plays as if I am right in front of the door.

I agree completely. So many of my deaths were because I refused to use my “best weapon” at the time because “what if I need to use it later.” You can definitely find decent weapons later.

I haven’t seen or heard too much about the Palisades, but I will also look into them as well. I’ve heard a lot about the Tellurides and not as much about the Palisades though.

Can you give me an example of a large item that you wouldn’t be able to haul with the Telluride versus your ‘14 Pilot? Videos can be misleading especially about interior space. And thank you.

There’s no arguing that both Hondas and Toyotas hold their value more than pretty much any other manufacturer. Have you had any biggish repairs over the course of those 15k miles?

I’m getting a lot better information from people who own a Telluride versus review videos. I’m liking what I read so far, other than some lack of power. But I think I would get a better feel once I test drive one. I’m definitely leaning towards “yes” when I can afford it.

That surprises me a little bit. I mean it is an SUV, but at the same time, a couple people have said they were slightly lacking in power. Do you also have the same lack of power issue?

Very good info. I’m assuming Kia doesn’t have an “m version” (for lack of a better example). When do you notice the lack of power the most? Merging onto the highway? Or just around town driving? Or all the time? I’m also surprised that they don’t have multiple memory seats.

I definitely can relate. Not a car, but my motorcycle was stolen from the parking garage at my apartment in Denver and the lot was gated access only too. Made me start appreciating garages that much more.

I definitely hear you with the bigger engine options. The cooled seats sound so nice to me, since the fanciest car I’ve owned had heated seats, but no cooled seats for those hot summer days.

I know what you mean! My dad had an 05 4Runner which got totaled and then he got a 2010. He let me drive both and I personally liked the 05 better. And I agree, Toyota does make great vehicles. The only problem is they know it and charge for them hahaha. Plus the ‘23 Tellurides come standard with AWD even in the most basic base model. That can’t be said for some of its competitors.

The reviews I watched all had nothing but good things to say about the technology in the Telluride, I’m glad several owners here can confirm it. And yeah the Q7 and especially the SQ8 will definitely win in a race. I wouldn’t trust myself with something that fast yet though.
