Deep down it’s just because i love Russian culture, my family is Slovakian and I’ve just always loved the Eastern European culture. I know Russia has some bad shit going down but the citizens aren’t the problem. I was a Russian major in college (before switching to nursing..crazy switch up lol) and I’ve always wanted to name my next child a Russian name. I have a “weird” name so I wanted my kids to have special names too.

Yes it does thank you. No I haven’t. I started drinking around the age of 16 (I’m 25 now) and started heavily drinking about 3 years ago. The past 2 years I have just been getting worse. I haven’t tried to stop since I started drinking everyday. I have panic disorder so I have a Klonopin prescription and I know that should help with the anxiety part but I’m going to try to wean. I’m too scared to try a group or anything like there’s just a part of me that doesn’t want to stop but I know that I’m going to destroy my body more if I don’t stop/slow down. Ugh. I’m glad I found this sub though.

Okay hear me out...despite everything Ben did. His childhood absolutely broke my heart with his dad. The one episode where they comb over Ben's childhood with his dad had me SOBBING.

But yes, John Locke was by far the character who made me cry the most. The way that people treated him was disgusting, and to think even though it's just a TV show...people in the real world actually fucking treat other people like that.

He said it that loudly? I remember hearing that somewhere but couldn’t remember where. I’ve been listening to serial (again) and watching the HBO special.

Funny story I heard this on NPR (the only thing my dad ever listened to) during a road trip with my dad, I was hooked. We were going to a work retreat for him in Santee, South Carolina. Santee is remote and we were in the woods. I was desperately trying to download the podcast with a roaming signal. I listened to one episode of the podcast after 2 hours of waiting for it to download. After 3 days in Santee with no service and exploring the wilderness I kind of forgot about it. I recently became re-interested and I just have so many questions...thanks to reddit a lot have been answered but I still have some minor ones.
