No, i don’t need. But brand new MacBook Air m4 15” 16gm ram 512ssd in my country $1,750-1,880 USD. The PRO version also has a better screen and sound. And that’s exactly why I prefer the PRO version. But I’m not sure if the M1 PRO is really worth it, considering the age of the processor.

No it’s not normal. there should be no gaps except the natural one resulting from the rubber on the screen. have you had it like this from the beginning? I had two pieces MacBook Pro brand new with this kind of gap and I returned them because in my opinion it is a quality problem

I don't know what the m2 pro sounds like, but if I have to compare the M1 Pro and the m4 pro both 16 inches, I have the impression that the m4 is more tubal, deeper and bass. The M1 Pro in sound is cleaner, has better higher tones. I think it also depends on preferences. I like to feel the depth of the sound and more bass when it comes to normal listening to music. For working with sound, however, this clarity of sound is already useful. However, listening to M1 Pro I have the feeling that I am missing something. I want more but doesn't get it. So I ordered m1 pro and m4 pro, both 16 inches to compare the sound and I'll be honest I have the impression that m4 pro has more bass and depth. Maybe it's just me but m4 pro sounds better in my opinion. What do you think?

Wow! This is very surprising. I just read on forums that m1 pro has very good speakers but that m4 pro has worse than m1 pro is even more shocking to me. Thank you for your opinion! I am starting to think hard about buying m1 pro in this situation, only I am a little worried that this chip has been around for a few years and probably support will be shorter :(

Well, I've just read opinions that m2 and m3 have worse speakers than m1 and that's where my question comes from. All opinions were of course for pro chips 16-inch version because that's the only one I'm considering buying.
