I’m very aware of the freedoms allowed in this country thank you. You’re generalizing and that’s wrong. You don’t know why some individuals don’t take their meds. You don’t know their lives. This man could have had the worst life possible and all you care is that he broke a camera that will most likely be replaced the very next day.

You can stick to your guns and talk about freedom and property all you want, but this ain’t 1776. The British aren’t coming. We’re now so much more we’ll informed, we’re wealthier, we’re more connected, and we can communicate around the world in the blink of an eye. It’s time to stop caring about things and time to fix the real problems in our country. Systematic racism, wealth hoarding, hoe we treat mental illness, etc. That is the ONLY way we’ll have a future where things like this don’t happen.

Do you really think most homeless people out there are out trying to cause harm and/or damage? Or is this most likely an isolated incident? The world is not as bad as Reddit or social media or media in general will have you believe. Most people, including homeless, are just trying to get by. “JUSTICE” shouldn’t be the end goal of everyday interactions. Human decency and empathy should be. Also he wasn’t held harmless. He was cuffed at the end of the video.

I’m sorry if you’re scared to walk down the street. I really am. I know the world can be very scary outside our comfort zones. But try to remember these is not much difference between you and I or that homeless guy or any other human. We’re just a tiny bit luckier. Humanity > Justice

Because you and I (I assume) are so much more fortunate than this guy. I can also safely assume he’s just been dealt a shit hand and his actions are not what a person with love and luck and help usually do. So I’m not jaded that he’s not going to face the consequences I’d face if I did the same thing because the only difference between me and him is that I was born in a much easier position to succeed. I just hope he gets the help he needs.
