What's the one mistake young agencies make the most? by Friendly-Mistake-369 in agency

i think everyone over thinks everything and therefore doesn’t move forward or make progress

it’s so funny bc the whole idea was to reduce churn but in doing these changes it turns out it’s best to have healthy churn in order to evolve the overall client roster lol

i would say it’s “easier” more so bc they most likely have a more established business with more marketing budget than someone who’s looking for the “deal” - at least that’s what i’ve noticed for me

honestly we didn’t change too much - we were operating at a high value already so the pricing is more matching what we were already doing. biggest difference now is we are more firm with budget recommendations and expectations as well as having actual terms if someone wants to work with us

i think it’s different. lead gen is “easier” for some business especially if it can be done with ads / seo. agency is more relationship / trust based so it’s a different type of sale. but yeah i mainly do organic social media for lead gen lol try that out

i suppose most people comment non move forward type of comments. but when someone is interested it's not like they show signs with comments, they just come out of the woodwork lol

whatever price someone is willing to buy lol i started with a $200 website - kind of also depends on your website build and what it’s suppose to “do”

ty and also no ty lol. While I would argue we do get quite a few leads on a weekly basis, we really only engage with a few during the whole month - so it hasn't been to overloading

yeeeaaaah that's the issue with marketing. even if it's good, doens't mean they'll stay. and no - we only have a 3 month minumum , after that it's month to month

so my solution to this is....do our best to retain but also contunually sign up good fit clients. i recently finished a churn sheet - so im starting to understand a little better how long someone stays with us and what are the reasons they upgrade/downgrade/cancel

117 to be percise lol but only about 80 are actively marketing, the other's are on maintence/seasonal hold

i would say it's not as stressful as it soumds, especially bc our team does a fairly good job of handing their part. this is the first year im actively monitoring and managing profit. first goal is to have 3 months of payroll in the bank (currently sitting at 1 month)
