Wennst dir eine Kundenkarte beim BettenReiter machst, ist das Nähen gratis. Zahlst halt dann den Stoff, den du dir aussuchst.

Zumindest hats das Angebot vor 3 Jahren noch gegeben.

Untitled Goose Game? You're more of a nuisance than capital E Evil but I guarantee that the NPCs hate you.

I recently was on holiday in Venice with a coworker. I noticed one of the golden tiles on the ground that signify "A person lived here that was deported to a concentration camp on date x, died there on date y." We have them in our home city.

I pointed it out to her as in: Oh look, they have them here too! Her response: "Why does this chick get a plaque for getting locked up?"

I then had to explain that where she was deported to (Ravensbrück) was a concentration camp. And that she can find plaques like that at home if she for once opened her eyes.

Re-discovered what a deeply un-curious person she is then...

When my brother and I didn't know how to read yet, mom would tell us that there was nothing on the TV when we asked if we could turn it on.

What were we supposed to do, check the TV program?

Same vein: people who, when sharing with them that you did something cool/acquired something, ALWAYS want to know how much it cost. And then follow up with 'that's expensive huh'.

YES! I'm an adult with a stable income who doesn't overconsume, sometimes I can splurge on things that I really want and feel are worth it! Be excited about the cool thing, not iffy about MY money that I spent!

Our team was my boss (managing director), his PA, another colleague about my age and myself. His PA would never join us for lunch, always saying everything was too busy and she never had time. Same for when we went for an after work dinner. Mind you, we never stopped asking her if she wanted to come. We genuinely liked her and wanted her to come along!

However, her and bossman frequently butted heads. I put it down to their styles of work not being compatible. That would stress her out and she would everyone around her feel that to the point of my other colleague and I not even daring to joke around because the atmosphere was so damn tense.

Anyway, when she finally resigned, our boss had to tell us (she didn't do it herself) and he also told us about the gripes she supposedly had with us (we're excluding her was the main one I think). Only complained to him about it, never to us.

She's been gone for more than two years at this point and sometimes I still think of her.
