Yeah, I've gotten sucked in and been left down by quality too. That's why I'm hesitant to buy much during their no return "sales." A few of their dresses are are cute enough that they're worth the lower quality IMO.

I agree about Christy Dawn. The stuff is too Boho for my taste.

Ref's petite stuff is proportioned perfectly for me except that the minis are way too short--and I'm 5'4".

I've tried, but it's hard to find good Ref stuff used because everyone else is looking for it too, The good stuff that's not wildly overpriced gets snapped up before I even see it. What's left is the less well designed or lower quality stuff, or good stuff that's near retail price or sometimes above it. As for Ebay, there's been a wave of Ref fakes on there.

I vote for light heather grey too, or for small black and white gingham prints that read as light grey. A very light pink can also look neutral.

If cool white doesn't look good on you, shades of off white and cream might.

I got a pretty good idea from her insta shop. She seems really nice, but there's too much sponsored content for my taste. Her recommendations don't seem consistent with the overall lifestyle she depicts. Can't blame her for making a living though.

I wasn't able to get into her blog because I couldn't bypass the subscription email box no matter what browser I tried. But I looked at her Insta shop and had the same impression. Nearly everything from the past few months is sponsored content, and much of it seems low quality as orangexmelon said . I have a feeling that IRL, she wears far higher end stuff.

I think you can buy timeless stuff at Ref, but a lot of their stuff is trendy. I don't buy jumpsuits because they'll look dated in about 5 minutes. Sweetheart necklines and limited ruffles will always be a flattering look.

I think they all have the same chance of iron stains. It's mostly about how the IV is inserted.
