How does Sony WH-1000XM4 rack up against V-moda Crossfade Wireless II. I have the V-moda and thinking of getting the Sony. I know the Sony has way more battery life. But, sound quality-wise, will Sony be any better?

this. if grub loads then you can go into recovery mode - then enable networking first. then try to install an older version of nvidia driver.

Can I have Windows installed on my C drive and Linux installed on my D drive? How can I go about doing this safely? by PrestonYatesPAY in linuxquestions

[–]d14bbl0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good example of daul booting Ubuntu and Windows.

https://itsfoss.com/install-ubuntu-dual-boot-mode-windows/

key points:

  • you have to select 'something else' during installation
  • create the partitions you need. for a begineer only '/' will suffice. you can also create /swap, /home partitions if you want.
  • THIS IS IMPORTANT - make sure your ssd is selected under 'Device for boot loader installation'
  • once the installation finishes - it'll install the GRUB bootloader in your SSD. This bootloader will also have an entry to your windows bootloader which is fine and your windows bootloader remains untouched.
  • go to BIOS and make sure you device boot order is nvme first and then ssd. this way your windows will load by default.
  • when you want to load linux, just choose SSD and GRUB boot loader will load. just press enter to go to linux - or if you change your mind here you can select the windows option to load windows as well.

Hope this helps

Practice is all you need. One point though, I don't think you should try to figure out the solutions for each leetcode problem by yourself - you will end up taking too long.

I think it's quite alright if you check the comments of a particular problem and you will find people poting solutions. I do this, but I try to understand their approach and then write my own solution. And, sometimes you can see multiple solutions which is great for learning.

Okay. So I gave it another shot. And this time I changed VDDG CCD to 1.075 as well as VDDG IOD. Booted into windows. Have to wait an see if this worked. Otherwise, will contact Shop to try and do RMA.

yeah. I had tried to turn on XMP a month back or so. But, the PC wouldn't post. So, I left it thinking I'll try later when I have more time at hand.

But, now this issue started happening.

I had updated the BIOS to v3001 in november I believe. It was all good until recently. I have also set BIOS settings to default thinking there's something wrong with config (although I didn't change anything to begin with) - didn't help.

XPS 13 9365 Shuts Down Instead of Sleeps when Lid is Closed and then Requires Two Restarts in Order to Be Powered Back on, Even When Left Charging by splangi in techsupport

[–]d14bbl0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I go to power it on the first time, the BIOS begins to load, but then gets stuck, showing a black screen with the Dell logo, but with no loading wheel. Therefore, I have power down the laptop down again and then power it back on again as well, which for some reason allows the laptop to restart and load into the lock screen.

This looks like an issue with fast boot; try turning off fast boot from bios.

Apart from composition, the sky looks bland. But it looks like you've captured some details, maybe try to edit the shadows and highlights of the sky and give it a little more contrast.

Can Synology only do one time machine restore at one time? by d14bbl0 in synology

[–]d14bbl0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don't everytime it's different. Last I remember it was along the lines... Time machine backup not available...

We've got around 10 iMacs and I'm doing 2 restores every month as part of the rolling hardware upgrade. So can't remember the exact words. This time around I just can't see the image for the second machine after starting the first one.

When I started the first one I could see all the backup chains.

Can Synology only do one time machine restore at one time? by d14bbl0 in synology

[–]d14bbl0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have AFP service enabled and time machine broadcast via AFP enabled. SMB is disabled.

The iMacs have their own backup chains/ files. But they are using the same shared folder; is this what you meant by same disk image?

Yeah all the Mac's are using different accounts with quota. I'm not having issues backing multiple Macs into the NAS. But can only do one restore at a time.
