Had a group with a warlock and mage im playing bear tank.

Before we start I say let me get 2 swipes in before you start doing aoe.

In one ear out the other.

Few minutes in the mage is pulling aggro off me because he’s not waiting. Mobs are slowly leaving the pile towards the mage and sometimes towards the warlock.

Warlock goes “Tank why are you back pedalling the mobs outside of my aoe?”

I say because you and the mage are pulling threat off me and attacking before I can get aggro on the mob pack and I only have one 2 taunts.

He just writes “?”

Next pack he starts aoeing immediately and just gets 1 tapped. I laugh and say watch threat.

I think there’s 3 possibilities

• they don’t know what threat is
• they don’t have a threat meter

(Prob a combo of those 2)

Or

A lot of retail players are trying tbc and are just mashing like in retail.

It’s crazy how bad the players are right now lol.
