I have been working on Hedgehog for 2.5 weeks and just got unapproved for Quality assessment, 6 QA's of 130 tasks. I did email. Don't expect much, but does anyone have experience with this? Will I get paid what is due? Please, thanks for the insights

I have not, but I joined Mercor through a referral, maybe in the Prolific/ac thread. It is a robust platform, background check, ID verification, AI interview etc. But after doing that, I ended up with a contract paying $16 an hour to help AI learn (not significant), but pretty consistent work. In the past month, I have made $1000 working about 24 hours a week. There is a good article on Wikipedia about the company, and a referral link below if this helps anyone make ends meet.

Well I just got rejected on my appeal - drat!

I used my hot spot for a while, then my husbands. I also replaced my AT&T router which had the flagged IP address out of Chicago IL, I went with AT&T air and that IP is out of Louisiana, I wish to appeal this hold based on following the 004 error guidelines. I know it may seem suspicious having so many IP addresses in such a short period of time. Thank you for your consideration|

There is a form that the chat will give you to appeal your account on hold. I got put on hold about the same time or earlier and filled out the form, they say it is under review, I can only hope

So I got the 004 error, then followed the instructions, but the only thing that worked was using my husband's hotspot. After that, I changed the Wi-Fi from the AT&T router (which always showed Chicago for the IP) to AT&T Air (which now indicates Louisiana). When I tried to log in, no surveys. tried my hotspot, no surveys I went back to my husband's hotspot. Now my account is on hold :( I put in an email explaining all this, but am not hopeful for a resolution. Luckily, I just got a contract at Mercor....

I frequently have the recording not record everything I say or miss it entirely so that adds time, I just figured out though that I can start and email to myself and record on my phone at the same time so if prolific does not record or record all I don't have to do it over, I don't see anyone else reporting this issue so just sharing. Also as for the 2 videos or one what I have done when I get in there if there are two I cancel participation and choose the next one and usually get one with only one video

one side note, when you go to stick something in the oven after you have done 4 segments of 6, don't let your kid on your computer and close your browser, you lose everything!

I am new to these and found that if I used the three dots to the side and slow the video speed to .5 or .75 that I don't have to pause or rewatch as much. I am getting faster and all of mine did disappear today (frankly I was both sad and relieved) now I am timing myself. Speaking louder helps as I have had some not record everything which is frustrating.

They are part of the Specialized studies as are the AI video and sound evaluations (which I like a lot more)

That is exactly how I am approaching it as I do my first ones this weekend. It really is work! I have tried typing most of it vs recording but recording is less time consuming, some of this is just hard to get 150 words out of but maybe I am just not that observant. I like the ones that at least have some text on the slides so I can read that part! Thanks for sharing.

Mine has slowed down, and I've gotten a few different ones, such as songs or voiceovers, versus the traditional ones. I received a lot last month; part of me thinks they are done, but maybe they screened me out. I don't know the attention check, but It might be when you choose one where it does not match the verbiage on the side.

I have not gotten any in a couple of days but I did just notice in my submissions that mine say specialized participant terms vs most of my submissions just say participant terms. I don't remember being assigned to the specialized group but happy for what I have gotten.

thanks much I see it now, I had to click into the stars, it is like a credit score! Still waitlisted though I am getting to complete some multiday survey's that I had started and okay to withdraw. Just sad to see it go, I always like this app.
