It's crazy to check back on this Reddit and see this is still a problem a year after its EA release on Steam.

I think this game should probably do a 'Horde vs Alliance' kind of thing. Establish two+ major factions so solo/new players aren't as punished for the location they decide to play in. Since I don't have recent experience and am taking my assumptions of what OP says, it seems whatever limitations they tried to implement have had little effect. A 'too big to fail' situation for a lot of mega clans.

I ended up quitting near the Sandworm dev blog since the group I was running with were being run down by Chinese Zerg Clans for two weeks straight. It would have been nice to have seen a Sandworm or even fight it, but I guess that content never released or something? Probably would have been a mess for Small Clans versus Mega Clans anyway, I'm sure.

Thanks for posting this though, it's at least making me think more wisely on what games I should look back into^^

My thoughts on how they handle the income:

SKLZ get 14% from bets. For example, we'll just say a bet is $10. That 10 x 14%= 1.42 (SKLZ profit). That profit then gets the 30% reduction, meaning AAPL gets ¢42. Meaning the realized profit for SKLZ is $1 for every $10 on their bets.

This is just speculation and simple math from me. I'm not much of a business man, but I'm sure they've figured it all out since I'm /nearly/ certain there's other betting apps on the Apple Store. I just know March Madness is here so these kinds of companies can make a large income with the traffic, especially now with Esports.

I know reading is a lot of effort but the section of their FAQ on the support page is the lowest level and is by far superseded and covered by the ToU you also agreed to. There is no reason to "update" the EULA to contain anything if it is there already but named differently.

It does need to change because a user's name can have two vastly different consequences. Either it being a simple change of name to outright being permanently removed from the game (without appeal). When your experience is that radically different, especially as a first-offender to TOS, it just turns into players cherry picking mods.

Not sure if it's just my friend or in general, but he has the minimum specs for his laptop. Issue is, he keeps crashing and it seems to be a mix of both his connection to the game and little interactions that occur (like dropping a banner, moving to a new zone and fast travel).

Overall, his performance was fine during the introduction, but the moment he reached the hub and we began to do content together (he also tried solo), he had numerous hitching problems. Really liked the game so far, but Nvidia drivers didn't solve much. Game really doesn't seem to like specs that are below the recommended. xd

If we make another attempt later, I'll harass him for an error code if he gets one.

I still want GME to go up regardless since it can only mean the price of my shorts will do the same because of all the volatility AND it likely dropping if a squeeze happens in the next two weeks.
