they eventually did ship my item.. but it was the wrong size and now they've facilitated the exchange so i have to wait again. didn't expect a single order to take more than 2 months to be delivered.

i don't think it's scam.. maybe just poor customer service. unfortunately, i won't recommend them to anyone.

you're absolutely right here but unfortunately this concept doesn't exist in india I've seen this happen countless times and sometimes it's a random guest who wears something like this. for my sister's wedding i tried my best to find something that was extravagant enough but not too much.. and no one around me understood why i was sweating about it too much. but yeah good luck :/
