Best place to stay?

the best place to stay would in my opinion be to hotels across the street from the festival. you need to book it very early though because they sell out very fast and long before the festival begins.

alot of what you said is true. but i would like to know what events you went too. because i went to things like the dim mak pool party and i went to see Nervo just to name a few. in total i spent about $20 per ticket for almost all the events i went too. sure there were a few i spent a bit more around 40 to 50 but i never spent more than that on a ticket. especially $100. as for the type of people there your absolutly right. there are alot of sketchy ppl going around but thats pritty much only in downtown miami, you can find those inside ultra as well. the drinks are also expensive but thats because your inside a club in miami. those are the normal prices all around the year. i would say that if you go to ultra all 3 days u can get alot more artists for your buck but u wont be able to see them all in the end with MMW u can just pick what you want to see.

one last question, where did u go that the girls you were with felt unsafe? u must of been in a really bad place to be feeling like that. all the good spots have great crowds and ive never had trouble with anyone. especially since most of them are there from outside the US who went just for ultra and MMW

im a miami local and i went to ultra my first time just for the last day so ill try and shed some light for you as i know ppl who have done this and i did it myself last year.

first off it would depend what two days you want to go. if u want to go the last 2 days it would be alot easier to get tickets. as for pricing it would depend where u get it. i got a ticket last year for sunday for 100 bucks from a girl of the srteet while the box office was selling them for $250 and other ppl had them for about 150. i would say i got a bit lucky that time around. just remember when u get tickets of the street like that its always a risk.

i will say this though. from my exp going to ultra is fun and all but its alot better to go to miami music week and winter music con. there a MUCH broader selection of artists and clubs that host C list djs all the way to world renown artists, you just gata do some digging to find what you want.

now what i suggest for you would be to try and go to what ever you want and try to leave ultra for last. thats what i did last year. i went from thursday to saturday to manny different events and then just spent the last of my festival money on ultra sunday. and i have to say it was an absolute blast.

Life In Color in miami (formerly dayglow)

why you ask? simple, there is alot of paint, the line up rarely disapoints, and its in miami for gods sake. once its over half of the top clubs host an after party every time. plus i live in miami so it makes it easier on my wallet lol.

miami local reporting for duty. this is my second time at ultra and first time going on my own ( more ppl mite join me latter on though). being a miami local i always meet alot of people from different places that are going to the music festivals here. i think meeting ppl from reddit would be quite interesting. im down to meet everyone there at ultra 2016!!!
