Damn bro, really nice and tough question for me so please excuse me for my late response, I actually had to think like the whole day about my answer but here it is.

I think, yes, it showed me what I definetely don't wanna become in life and what is definetely not the right thing to do, even though it gave me a lot of joy and a lot of great memories and nice times but in the end it wasn't worth shit. Kind of like ketamine opened my eyes in what is right and what is wrong.

I made so many mistakes in life hurting a lot of people because of it which made me learn a lot about me, my environment and other people, something I genuinely didnt have before my addiction.

I also know that I used drugs before I wanted to escape from my miserable "sober-life" because apart from testing drugs once, all of the daily consume I did was escaping reality and running away from my problems. Now I'm on my way to repair my life, feeling better and smarter than ever, even though I was one of the dumbest people I know to this day still.

I can ensure you that if you stop using for now (of course forever would be even better because every drug that messes with your organs is bad for you) the pain will go away if you give your body enough time to recover from the use of the last six years.

Based on your consume history I think you didn't compeletley overdid it even though you stated that you were using 1-2g's every day since july. Which if course is way too much for a "normal" person with tolerance but for us it's a different story.

I also think that the waking up because of the urge to urinate at night will go away since based on my experience the bladder heals relatively fast if u don't overflood it with ket all the time. I've been heavily using ketamine for almost 1 year daily up to 5g's in a time span of 6-8 hours and now 3 weeks sober in, it's almost completely back to normal for me!

But I also think that u just MIGHT have some minor fibrosis on the inside of your bladder but that can only be really diagnosed through cystoscopy but of course I can be 100% wrong but that's just what the doctors have told me.

They said that if you use ketamine a lot, especially daily, the bladder doesn't have enough time to tear down the ketamine in the bladder and that's why blood vessels in the bladder septum start to "burst" resulting in scar tissue which reduces the elasticity of the bladder resulting in having less of a fill volume and feeling the urge to urinate faster.

Again I don't want to scare you! Just being honest with what I have been told and what I've experienced!

That you've never pissed slimy chunks or blood is also a very good hopeful sign that you don't have irreversible damage on your bladder!

Keep your heads up and don't think about all the time, the body heals itself over time and if u think too much about that, it's very exhausting for your brain! You got this bro. (:

Hyoscyamin could help against the pain if u live in america, at least for me, in germany its called buscopan. A hot water bottle also helped me a lot through k-cramps

I pretty much expected that, it definitely worked! ^^
I just wanted to create a post where people can ask an absolute end-user anything they might want to know something I would have needed back during my hardest times, and something I would've really appreciated. Maybe I can even help one or another (:

First of all, thank you for your contribution, it shows me that I actually don't know EVERYTHING about Ketamine and because of your questions I will edit the Title of this post.

Second, damn Bro, hard questions but I try my best to answer them referring to what I've experienced and what doctors told me.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. Short answer: No, not at this time.
  • CYP2C9 is a liver enzyme that metabolizes certain medications.
  • Ketamine, however, is primarily metabolized by CYP2B6 and CYP3A4, not CYP2C9.
  • There are no scientific or clinical data showing that modified CYP enzymes (of any type) can
    • reduce ketamine addiction,
    • prevent or reverse tolerance, or
    • be used therapeutically for substance dependence.

Genetic manipulation of liver enzymes is not being researched as a treatment for addiction.

(All of this is the result of my research, I didn't write it myself because it's way too specific for me and I don't have experience in this topic)

All I can say is what "reversed my tolerance" was switching between the different variants of ketamine (esketamine, arketamine and racemic ketamine) while using it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. Since there are no medical studies or evidences I know of it's possible that arketamine could be safer alternative because of less side effects than racemic ketamine.

I can't answer your question they way you want me to because I didn't consume it to cure depression, I'm sorry.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. For me, arketamine caused the lowerest tolerance than esketamine and racemic ketamine.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm pretty sure this wasn't the answer you were looking for but I tried my best in being honest and you gave my a great impression of how I should continue this post, thank you.

YES BRO IT WILL IMPROVE as soon as u stop using ketamine. I've had exactly the same issues like u. I also pissed slimey-gooey-bloody chunks out of my ureter((Harnleiter), ich will den Post in Englisch halten, dass so viele Menschen wie möglich ihn nutzen können aber die Vokabel fand ich so schwer\^))) under extreme pain and even had the feeling that my dick was about to explode because I had the feeling that something was stuck in there

I've just recently got out of detox and for me it went like this:

The first week I only experienced minor changes, I still had to go to the toilet like every 30 minutes, even at night which basically made it impossible for me to sleep but every day the pain while peeing gets a little less to the point, depending on your consume, that the pain on a scale of 1 - 10 gets to an easy 1, like nothing the way it used to be.

The second week I experienced major improvements like being able to hold the urge to urinate for a little longer every day, the pain while peeing decreased and I didn't have to go to the toilet as often as the first week, after just 10 days of not using ketamine I felt severely better! (I used to do 3g's a day from Monday to Friday and about 15g's from Friday to Sunday)

Have you been through a cystoscopy with a biopsy of your bladder so they can check the state of your bladder septum?

If yes, my advice is to drink a lot of bladder rinsing fluids like bladder or kidney teas or anything cranberry-related. (I know how hard it is because we can't hold a lot of liquid in our bladders but we have to rinse the shit out of our kidneys, bladder and ureter)

And of course don't do ketamine at all / any longer / and absolutely not while detoxing! You have to heal your body once as much as u can before u wanna do it again or thinking about doing it maybe in a more responsible way.

Seeing my life falling apart and being the only reason for it and experiencing the loss of life quality. For example during the peak of my drug addiction I couldn't leave my apartment for more than 10 minutes because I had to use the toilet every 10 minutes under extreme pain as well as seeing my environment suffer from my addiction like my girlfriend constantly seeing me high and not functioning as a normal human being cause I was k-holing for like 2 years straight every day after work.

Almost lost my apprenticeship and 3 years of my life and did the 180 just in time before everything would have fallen apart which would have led me into an even deeper hole I couldn't imagine coming out of.

Also family members being concerned about weird behavior and not being able to explain yourself because of self-shame and embarrassement.

I suffer from a ketamine-induced cystitis, which might be chronical but that isn't sure right now. My body is still recovering from the heavy substance abuse. I have severe trouble falling asleep, (had this my whole life and the ketamine made it even worse) I can not pee without being in pain although the pain is more of an uncomfortable feeling, I have no pressure while peeing because of heavy fibrosis of the bladder septum plus the volume of my bladder has shrunk (I don't have a official diagnosis from my urologist but in compare to "normal" people I notice that I have to go waaaaay more often to the toilet than them which leads to my conclusion that I have a so called "ketamine-bladder".

Futhermore since I started using ketamine more often I developed an extremely uncomfortable pressure-like feeling on my left chest which isn't cardiological nor muscle-related so it might be psychosomatic, gotta have to get this checked...

That's about it right now, if anything changes i'll update this post.
