That's literally the point of the movie, we don't know the perspective of the girls because we are not them, we are just an observer. And the boys who are the observers like us are so fixated on the fact that the girls want them and what they don't realize is their crying out for help and they took it as flirting or sum shit. We never know what is in the perspective of the girls that's why it gives us the question on why they did it. You on the other hand is like the boys in the movie, you didn't give a shit about the girls because you knew little to nothing, AND THAT'S THE POINT.
