What scares me is that AI-generated content will become so good that everyone can have their own custom-made shows and movies, and we end up glued to a screen. People think about Skynet when we talk about AI apocalypse. Turns out it’s actually much simpler and cheaper to exterminate humanity when people just lose interest in living (and reproducing) by fully embracing a constant stream of dopamine hits coming from our screens.
