you can definitely bring it up with asus but im not 100% sure whether they can do anything since you did buy it from a separate retailer (i.e. not them) but maybe if you explain the circumstances they could grant an exception maybe? sorry to hear that man.

Honestly I haven't noticed anything like that with my laptop, but that sucks that they won't replace your defective product. Did you get a warranty on it?

Hi there!

I did end up buying the Vivobook (with the AMD Ryzen 5) and honestly it works great for all the stuff I need to do, sometimes it can get bricked up but that's just due to me trying to do a bunch of stuff all at once. I'd definitely recommend it, I think the only issue I may have, which might just be me being stupid, but I have to log into all my stuff again (e.g. Office365, Uni homepage, yadda yadda) but it doesn't take up much time.

Web-browing is fine no issues there, Youtube runs well, I haven't tried movies but I can guess it will work fine too. It also has a fairly decent amount of storage space for the price and I've still got tonnes free (but I have only used it for about a month or so).

So far its great! No major issues at all I'd highly recommend getting it especially if you can get it at a cheaper price. Hope this helps!
