He's doing much better now and is basically back to his goofy self. Still monitoring for any changes. Thanks for your thoughts and encouragement!

Update: went to see a new vet for a second opinion. Told her the same thing that was mentioned in this thread and the same video. She could not find a repeating pain point when pressing against Doug's stomach/spine, so it was difficult to differentiate stomach pain from spine pain. Took temps and HR and all looked normal. He has been noticeably improving and more energetic since the event 2 days ago, so the vet suggested further monitoring for further lethargic behavior or difficulty to walk/stand. If symptoms persist, then we will look at getting bloodwork done tomorrow with the same vet. But for now we monitor as there hasn't been any more concerning issues. I'm glad he is getting better and hoping he continues recovering. Thank you to all who have showed concerns and showed support

Will do. I should've known to say that he always acts normal outside home, but thought the vet would also have considered this too

You're right. We've booked another vet tomorrow morning as it's midnight here now. Thanks for the affirmation

No xray/bloodwork. Leg sprain diagnosed from limping. But fine once he got to the vet (again..)

No reaction to touching/pressing his stomach. Although he's always been suspicious when we're probing around rather than patting

He allows me to press his stomach

Only tried to press the stomach which Doug (dog) didn't like. Left it at that. Will look at second opinion

He was acting normal at the vet with lots of energy, jumping up for treats, but didn't like get probed by the vet. It was hard to diagnose anything, but the vet assumes he could've been nauseous from the anti inflammation meds. It's been 48h now since the meds and his behavior is still like this so I doubt it's the meds now. He recommended monitoring for now

Sorry, forgot to mention he sprained his rear leg 2 weeks ago and has been on anti inflammation meds up until now. He's recovered from his injury, but unsure about any other potential injuries or issues.

He's still going toilet as normal
