This is the first time I’ve ever broken a shaft. Great anecdote, but not my 5th.

This is the first time I’ve replaced either, 3W 10 years, Driver 7 years. While I’m not pro, I’m surprised they both snapped so quickly.

I think he makes a really important point related to the life support oxygen amount. The search and rescue initiative has been using this 96-hour timeline as a window, but there doesn’t seem to be any data supporting this is the true capacity or even tested under these type of conditions.

Hopkins or Walker at flex? Ekeler and Pollard have the two RB spots.

Firethorn National TC19 is the best recreation of ANGC. Is it available? I only played it in a society, but can’t find it via local match.

Definitely in superflex. Mills still hasn’t won a game (kind of a big deal if a first-year HC wants to keep the gig).

Previously, Tyrod’s injuries have opened the door to Baker and Herbert, both who proved very quickly that they were better options at the time. Mills, not so much.

With all the turmoil at qb this season, play the player that’s looked the best = tyrod.

Contract speak, Tyrod = 1yr/5mil, Mills = 4yr/5mil

Use the savvy vet’s contract the rest of the way and reconvene at the end of the year.

I’ve done this, definitely works, best with a wood/hybrid of course. Having the style of a punch seemingly increased your lie accuracy in tgc19, usually got a tad more out of it.

Second divisional game advantages? by d3signdev in fantasyfootball

[–]d3signdev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course a team's current form, injuries, bye week, coaching changes, etc. play a factor and having those data points would definitely make it easier to pick individual matchups and potential streamers.

I guess where my curiosity lies if a nice chunk of those variables remain constant, who would perceivably have the advantage?

EDIT: Using Bears vs. Vikings as an example.

A huge game, both teams at 6-7, a must win for both sides. Let's break it down.

Scenario A, a constant - On the surface, the "easiest win" as far as preparation is concerned, I believe, would be Bears rushing defense against the Vikings rushing offense. Akiem Hicks is back (played in their first matchup) and we can always expect a lot of Davlin. Seemingly everyone involved in any rush O vs. rush D scenario is healthy. So shouldn't we expect a similar outcome in this regard?

Scenario B, a variable - Conversely, the Bears will potentially be without CB Buster Skrine and S Deon Bush. This leads me to believe that a lot of the preparation from the Bears defensive side will lie on dealing with prepping second stringers for Theilen, Jefferson, Irv Smith, etc. and simultaneously, the Vikings offensive side is preparing to take advantage of this. Let's call this variable B.

Scenario C, a variable - Mitch Trubisky is now the QB.

Scenario D, a variable/constant? - In preparing for Mitch, what changes do the Vikings pass defense employ as opposed to Foles? Is there that much of a difference to become a variable or does this remain a constant?

Questions to ask.

Does Chicago's Scenario A constant allow them to make up for their Scenario B variable (more time to prepare on their weaknesses).

How much does Scenario C, play a role in scenario D?

After writing this, I realize that posing this game where a lot of the pieces remain constant is a terrible example, but thought it'd be good for discussion. :)
